i have to say..a movie which opened at mere 18 crores and went on to run for above 50 days and make 300cr in india..you really think controversy is the reason behind it? at best that 18 crore opening can be due to that or even the first weekend..but it for sure..no way on earth..would have run for 50 goddamn days if it was not widely accepted by the audience

Maybe...but if a movie makes a true impact and is a trendsetter, it is not forgotten mere months later. I don't really see anyone talking about it much anymore..? What is the reason for that?
