She is not dumb, she is cunning and she has no language issues. 😉

Still what Smita said ,although improper , was correct !

@charu-deu : we all know that, but she is not Sharmishta's best friend to comment like that on her...some people have their believes, no need to mock them, just cause it didnt work for them... she herself is a divorcee so she shudve had more empathy with Sharmishta

@anjs I didn't say that you are Shilpa fan I said that in general because on social media there were so many shilpa fans who declared they don't know marathi and they haven't watched the show but Shilpa likes megha then we are gonna vote for her and same thing happened with usha too.
Now regarding what smita said to sharmishtha it was absolutely correct. Color's marathi are trying to promote superstition that if you roll thread around the tree your husband will live long. What crap is this they do the same thing in their serials too. In one serial when the protagonist said she will not do it she was given a lecture by sanskaari member that you have to become a girl and accept it in the name of sanskaar Really like she is not a girl if doesn't do it. Having respect for someone's beliefs and forcing them on someone it's totally different thing. They are taking india backwards.

I shall tell a story regarding beliefs -

Once upon time , there was a village which was suffering from severe lack of rains .The villagers decided to organise a big pooja at a temple which was some distance away. The villagers started in the morning to go to the temple.
They observed a small boy was carrying am umbrella . They all started laughing & asked the boy why he is carrying an umbrella when there is not a cloud in the sky & no chance of rain.
The boy answered " how do I come back when there will be rain after the pooja?'

Its surprising that you talk about not forcing others, yet think its wrong of Shilpa fans to vote for Megha... just cause they wanted to do it without anyone else coaxing them...

As for colors Marathi, I agree that most of their shows are regressive, and I have also seen the one you are talking about...You heard what the girl said about vat poornima, yet conveniently ignored what her MIL Said... about the reason for worshiping the banyan tree...Also I wud request you to not call anything superstition just cause you dont understand it...

Do you know know why Vat Savitri was started by our Sages ?? Most of the festivals and traditions started by Hindus are based on science and its meant to make life on earth better... not just for humans but every living being... There is a reason why we celebrate Makar Sankranti, Diwali, Vat Poornima and Nag Panchami...

If you try to dig a bit and use little logic and science you will realize that the reasons are solely based on seasons and also consider nature and how to help ourselves, maximize our own health and the same time maintain the balance on nature... so please requesting you to not talk and condemn some custom without thinking through...

I don't have problem that Shilpa fans are voting her. What I am saying is so many fans which doesn't know marathi and not following show are voting for megha that's why she became more popular.
Now regarding vat savitri and other festival again I am not against them and my mother gets really happy to celebrate diwali and other festivals. i know about vat savitri story but my problem is forcing people to follow it. What if someone doesnt want to do fasting for health or whatever reason. I am saying this by personal experience, my mom who is weak since birth but she was told to do 16 somavar and after marriage it was more strict even doctor said she doesnt have to do it but she was made to do it. Thats why I hate the forcing thing. Anyways sorry for telling my personal story but just I wanted to share to tell I dont hate them just what they say its compulsory part. I do agree not the right forum to discuss things. Again I am sorry if I hurt any sentiments that wasnt my intention.
