Sanju is heading for the biggest opening day of the year as the collections look likely to cross the 30 crore nett mark if this pace keeps up.

Race 3 first day was the last day of Ramzaan in India right? I doubt many if any Muslims went to watch it on the first day.

I don't think this is surprising tbh, Lot more hype for sanju with it being a combination of Hirani+Dutt+Ranbir. Plus Race 3 looked horrible from the posters to the trailer to the songs.

Overall i think this will breeze past Race 3 collections, i'm thinking something along the lines of 250+cr

What is the Big deal? Tiger already equalled Race 3 with an average trailer, song and director. And on a Non Holiday.

But yes, Sanju beating Race 3 adds importance due to the Katrina factor and personal fight between Ranbir-Rishi-Salman.

One thing is clear Festive rates was a smart move by Sanju makers. If Baaghi 2 had festive rates, i think it wud hv also crossed Race 3! 😆
