Sorry if this has already been asked. I've got an awful headache and can't be bothered to go through 20 pages to see if this has already been answered.

Is Sahil Anika's cousin or half brother in this redux? Anika calls Sahil's mum 'chachi' but I know some people call their step parents aunt and uncle so it's not clear to me. Is Sahil's mum Anika's stepmother or aunt?

We don't know for sure, but Chachi mentioned that Annika's mother left them and went to live as a mistress somewhere. I assumed that she left them with Sahil's dad, meaning Annika's uncle. Sahil's dad died at some point in time, leaving Annika in charge.

Simply put, Sahil's dad and Annika's mum are siblings. I think.

So yeah, that makes Sahil her cousin. And Chachi, her uncle's wife. Hope it helps.

If Saahil dad and Annika mum are siblings then Saahil dad would be Mama to Annika and his mum would be Mami to Annika and not chachi...

Chachi is father's brother's wife...
