Part 9
I- just have one request .
R- bolo .
I- don't tell this all to amma ,either she will scold me .
R- pagal hai kya , ma too will not leave me . but sachchi boloon when you told me to take you here ,I was scared .
I- even I was scared ,but didn't told you thinking may be you will get nervous . generally whenever I drink water baby starts moving but today ,I had so much of water but there was no movement which made me scared .
R- chalo achcha hua you noticed it and we came here on time .
I- Raman ,I just can't thank you enough. what you are doing for me it very much, no one does this for some one .
R- again you started you thank you list .

Ishita smiled listening to him,they talked some more then he told her rest, she closed her eyes and soon she was slept while Raman waited ,sitting beside ishita till the bottle ended . Then he called the nurse ,she removed the needle from ishita's hand and soon ishra returned back to their house . Ishita entered her house thinking that her parents must had slept but found amma was waiting for her . She saw ishita and asked " ishu why you people got so late ".
I- kuch nahi amma ,actually Raman took me for a long drive and as the weather was nice we went bit long .
A- ishita ,I don't have any doubt but still I want to tell this to you .
I- bolo na amma ,what's bothering you .
A- kanna ,I m seeing you and Raman are spending much time together . I agree you are friends ,he is helping you but kanna ,I don't want anyone to point a finger on your character . you know Raman is a boy and unmarried too ,you are a girl that too alone and pregnant . you will be a easy target for everyone to point a finger on your character saying , you trapped him .
I- what are you saying amma .?
A- that's the truth of society kanna, moreover bhalla's themselves are helping us so much that I don't want anyone to ruin our friendship .
I- your tell me straight what you want to say .
A- has itna hi that its ok for today but don't make it a practice ,we won't be able to take it if someone will badmouth about you or even Raman .
I- thanks amma for warning me beforehand .
A- kanna don't take it other way ,you know how these society people are .
I- I will keep it in mind amma ,waise bhi its just few days ,after baby's birth I m not going to have time .
Both amma and ishita talked for sometimes and then went to sleep . Next morning Raman got up ,completed his morning chores and went out of his room. He saw toshiji ,sweety and Mr bhalla were busy in a very serious talk . He too settled beside them and asked " what you all are talking " .
T- aaja puttar tu bhi baith ,I wanted to ask about your choice .
R- choice for what ?
T- I had waited enough ,now I want a daughter in law for myself ,aakhir kitne din main akele kaam karti rahoongi .
R- why you will do work alone ,ye sweety bhi to hai . and from where this marriage thing croped up suddenly .
T- its not sudden ,I was thinking it from many days .
R- ma please , abhi nahi ,you know na I m busy in very important project ,after that I will do what ever you say .
S- arey bhai ,haan bol do kaun sa abhi shaadi ho rahi hai ,its just we will start seeing girls with your choice .
R- ok ,as you all say . ma you choose girl with your choice ,if I will like her ,I will marry her.
Toshiji saw sweety and then asked happily " you mean to say ,you are ready for marriage ."
R- Maine kya French mein bola .
T- matlab tu ready hai na ,I start looking girl for you na .
R- haan bhai haan . now can I get my morning tea ya wo bhi meri shaadi ke baad hi milengi .
All laughed listening to this and sweety went to bring tea for her . Soon she was back with his tea while toshiji got busy in asking for Raman's choice . After much thinking he spoke " I don't have any special taste ,bad achchi honi chahiye , you know compatible to me ,like like like...
(he looked upwards thinking )
And then spoke " sweety ,no bahen wali feeling aayegi , Mehra aunty ki beti ,no no she is too slim ,khanna aunty's daughter ,no no her neck is too long like a crane , Singh aunty's daughter nahi she is too short ,in my comparison . iyer aunty ,haan ishita ishita is perfect ,you choose a girl like ishita ,she is educated and beautiful too .
He told his choice ,comparing all the girls of his society. Sweety eyed toshiji while she shrugged the fact that Raman was interested in ishita . Toshiji called some of her friends too and instructed them to see girls for Raman ,they all assured her that soon they will be back with nice alliances . On the other hand it was a normal morning for iyers ,they were having their breakfast ,talking about last night .Ishita was telling the happenings of last day,how she enjoyed with Raman to her parents while they were happy that ishita is getting the pampering like others pregnant girls . Though Amma was bit worried and ishita was bit upset ,Amma was worried about the society while ishita was still thinking that how she will avoid Raman . with what reason ?
After having their breakfast iyers were back to their work ,appa was going to market to being household things , amma went to do some work while ishita was having her medicines ,that's when the door bell rang . Ishita got up and opened the door ,it was Toshiji . She called her inside and both settled in the couch . ishita saw Toshiji and asked " you are looking too happy today aunty ,is there something good".
T- of course ishita Raman finally got ready for marriage ,Maine to apne dosto se ladki doondne ko bhi bol diya hai .
She announced happily and ishita too answered her with sane happiness " that's great aunty ,itni achchi news then also you are here without sweet ".
Toshiji noticed that ishita was happy , she thought that everything is normal between ishita ,sweety was thinking unnecessarily . That's when amma too came out and joined them , she too congratulated toshiji. Mothers got busy in talking while ishita went to her room for taking rest ,she lays on her bed and closed her eyes .
It was about ten minutes ,ishita was trying to sleep but she was not able to rather the moments she has spend with Raman ,his pampering to her ,his care for her was flashing in her mind . She got up from the bed and thought getting worried ," why I m thinking about Raman so much ,I was happy with his marriage news but why suddenly I feeling insecure thinking that ,his care and concern towards me will change . Hey murugan what's happening to me ,I m a married woman ,going to be a mother , why I m feeling anything for Raman . This is wrong ,I shouldn't do this , he is such a nice guy ,was just helping me aur mere dimaag mein unke liye kuch nahi aana chahiye ."
She said to herself and thought to divert her mind from Raman.
