I don't think there is even one war lord that is so much loved not only in his birth place but everywhere else...Even innindia there are many who are cheering for him to win (historicaly he did win). I don't think any Indian would have cheered for likes of napolean, Augustus, ceaser, Genghis khan, khilji, Huns , Cyrus, etc to win against an Indian king...😊
What makes Alexander unique...😊

His story: I am not saying it hasn't been embellished by poets and storytellers but it's quite alluring...

His death: he died very young. This is also reason for great admiration for him...

Achievements: well no need to tell this...

I think the reason people admire him is bcoz he is not bad like other bad kings.
1. He loves his people. He don't misbehave with them.
2. He respects women.
3. He dont attack from behind.

These are the three positive things about him that I got to know through this show. And this is the reason of hiss admiration I think.

Even the most random sculpture representing him out there are finite and exquisite. These do say a lot about the physical features of the real one himself. He always looks like he's a laureal around his head and looks indeed like a demigod. He looks even more elevated when he's his tiger helmet on while riding Bucephalus.
