Friends, I seriously think: Om's character is like: Gada Dhari Bheem! 😆
I know, you must think I'm nuts. Since I am a self-proclaimed mythology geek, think about this: In Mahabharat, Bheem was the one who truly loved Draupadi although she was partial to Arjun. He constantly put her needs, cares first. He was annoyed with Yudhisthir for putting Draupadi at stake. He even fought for her honor by killing Dushashan and bringing his blood back to appease Draupadi. Although little is shown in B.R. Chopra's version of Mahabharat, Bheem went to great lengths to protect, nurture and care for Draupadi. It is said, that he loved her the most of the five brothers.
Bheem was also head strong like Om, but a totally lovable character. Om too totally cares for Manya. He even put his career on the line and was ready to leave the instititute with Manya. That act totally touched my heart. He was there for her when she needed someone. Understanding her without her having to say anything ... Sigh, am I reading too much into this?
