Doing something 4 Ur country by rising above Ur selfish & personal desires & relationship should be greatly respected. Puru showed what a great & selfless soul he is as it take a lot 2 keep Ur country above Ur luv ones , he dint left anusuya aur bamini but he started work 4 his first priority that's his country Bharat. Character like shivdutt & ambhiraj r fully selfish u can't rise above their personal hatred , these type of people only care 4 themselves & their ego.
Our Indian army leaving their families & personal life behind willing fully sacrifice their lives 4 our country thou they don't have any personal gain in it.
Puru chose matrabhoomi 4 two reasons, first he saw danger in form of Alexander approaching his matrabhoomi, secondly he knew if anusuya would had been present with him , then she 2 would had asked him 2 choose matrabhoomi over herself as anusuya so did d same in third episode , 4 a woman her self respect is everything but when bamini insulted her self respect , she still chooses 2 protect her matrabhoomi interest from Darius over being revengeful for getting insulted , anusuya kept matrabhoomi above herself , so does Puru he too choose matrabhoomi above his parents ,it doesn't mean that he is leaving his parents.
Anusuya & Puru both deserve 2 be respected 2 keeping their country above themselves
Puru did one thing more which should be appreciated that is when he saw Alexander's army is getting back 2 attack as they were killing d elephant's , d first thing he did was he signalled dasyus 2 leave d place as he knew dasyus r less in numbers, he can't sacrifice their lives at this moment.
I dislike some points of Puru & anusuya but I m definitely not blind 2 their gud points.
