Nick Jonas wants to marry Priyanka Chopra but her friends are wary: Re

Although it hasn't been too long since Cupid struck Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, things are heating up very quickly between the couple. In fact, after a series of dates and flirtatious comments on each other's Instagram posts, the two seemed to have made it official this weekend, when Nick brought Priyanka as his plus-one to his cousin's wedding.

"It's a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin's wedding. He's dated a lot over the last couple years but it's never been anything serious, so this is a big step," a source revealed to People.com.

Nick is smitten by Priyanka and wants to take their relationship to the next level, if a report in HollywoodLife is to be believed. Now that things are going swimmingly on the professional front for Nick, he wants to settle down and start a family.

A source is quoted as telling the website, "Nick is falling hard for Priyanka, and he is very interested in making things serious really soon. All Nick really wants now that he has a career in something he loves, is to have a beautiful wife and a couple children to boot. He doesn't want to be a serial dater, and he hopes what he as with Priyanka turns into something very important in his life and he hopes that she is the one."

Fans are already shipping the couple and have already coined a nickname for them - Nickyanka. However, it looks like not everyone is as excited about Priyanka and Nick's relationship.

HollywoodLife reports that Priyanka's friends are wary, keeping in mind Nick's reputation as a "total player". "Her friends are all warning her that he is a total player, and not to get too close cause he will break her heart. So, she is keeping everything light and easy and trying not to get too attached to him, but she thinks he is really sexy, talented and their chemistry in the bedroom is undeniable," a source close to the actress revealed.

Priyanka and Nick first sparked rumours of a romance when they arrived at last year's Met Gala together. At the time Priyanka had explained, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun."

The rumours gained momentum this year, after they were clicked together on a series of dates. They have also been leaving flirtatious comments on each other's pictures on Instagram.
