Why is SHILPA SHETTY so popular despite doing nothing in her CAREER

I am amused Shilpa shetty is trending just because she's spotted outside a clinic..the hashtag says #shilpakokyahua

Shilpa actually never got the opportunity to show her talent...save for Phir Milenge..otherwise I thought she was a good actress..and Its not like that she hasn't done anything in her career...

I think she is still relevant because of her husband Raj Kundra, he is very rich and has lot of contacts, he even owned a channel and produced movies, which helped Shilpa a lot. In BW, popularity for actresses after marriage depends on who they are married to, if their husband is very rich and famous, then it helps them a lot to stay relevant, Sonali Bendre was on the same level as Shilpa on career but Sonali is nowhere seen because her husband is not that rich like Shilpa's husband, so if Shilpa was not married to someone super rich like Raj Kundra, then she would've vanish long time ago, also Shilpa judges reality shows and promotes yoga which helps her to stay relevant.

After big brother she built her brand name. She has been part of alot of reality shows as a judge. Starting from nach baliye and hosting big boss season 2.

I really don't get it either. Yeah an actresses popularity depends on whom she gets married to which is why I don't think Sonam will sustain bc her hubby a nobody.

Raj Kundra seems like a crap-asshole-piece of shit of a person. The way he's basically ignored his daughter from his first marriage just repulsive IMO. I was creeping on his IG today and hes always posting stuff about his son and for his son's bday post, I saw he posted "thank you for making me a proud father Shilpa" or something along those lines and just wanted to puke. [BTW-nothing against Viaan, hes a cutie] DUDE- you became a father 11 year ago and choose to ignore it. He has an 11 year old daughter who he has never publicly acknowledged- no pics, big bday parties like his son gets, no bday posts on IG or anything related to her at all and then he touts around being a great father to his son, which I am happy for his son. Shilpa- idk how much say she has in all this, but barring this aspect of her life, I've always thought she was made for fitness stuff- she has a killler body like Sushmita and would have made a much better model. Actingwise she's ok, nothing stellar.

That's very sad and unfair to ignore one child and keep doting another child, he seems worse father to his daughter from his first marriage than Boney was to Arjun and Anshula when they were children, that Raj guy seems creepy to me, not just because he left his first wife and abandoned his daughter but also because of the illegal business that he is involved with, few days ago, heard that he was involved on some illegal business and before he was involved with cheating on IPL, he seems like a publicity hungry person, heard that he married Shilpa for publicity and Shilpa is no less, she is a golddigger, she is enjoying his wealth and because of his wealth, she is still relevant while he get to hang around with B-town celebrities because of her, so both are getting benefits from each other like most B-town couples, I also find Shilpa very fit and yeah she does have a killer body but I never found her acting that great, which is why she was never considered A-lister.
