Foreigners can't stand the screechy thin voices of singers like Shreya, Lata, etc. Their voices are appreciated only in India.
Other than that, Indian classical music is very popular. Concerts sell out at hundreds of pounds.
And Ofc old BW numbers of Pancham are very popular in some countries. Some people are now looking at BW as another K pop glitzy thing but those numbers are few.
Most Americans will ridicule BW films and music but then again that's the OTP KJo era which is a joke to most outside India.
