Okay I know a lot of people are going to diss Zoya for refusing to implicate Mahi, but I felt what Zoya said today was right.
Just because Mahi maligned Zoya's character, Zoya is not going to do the same to her.

Even if Mahi was infatuated with Aditya and is probs doing this for revenge, Zoya is not going to humiliate her by bringing this out in public. In a world where woman on woman hate is common, I felt Zoya's stance took a lot courage.

I know it seems stupid and naive but its not? It takes a lot courage not to stoop down to the other person's level.

Also, Zoya cared about Mahi's mom. However bad Mahi is, her mother doesn't deserve her daughter's humiliation in public, especially when her son has already fallen from grace in the eyes of the world. At the end of the day, the society is going to blame Madhu for raising her kids badly. And Zoya knows that because currently her parents are going to/are about to face the humiliation. She will not intentionally let Madhu face the same humiliation just because Madhu dislikes her.

I would agree with this only if this would implicate Zoya n Zoya alone. But what is Adi's fault? Why should he suffer? Mahi deserves it if that happens with her n I have no regrets saying this. If she feels no regret in assassinating the character of an innocent woman with lies then why should not her truth be out? If Zoya had spoken the truth she wouldn't be maligning Mahi's character but she would be saying the truth. Along with her even Adi's character is in question. Both Hooda and Siddiqui family's honour is in the line of fire n she wants to protect Mahi? Sorry but I can never ever agree to this suicide mission.

I posted on this post earlier, and while the whole episode overall was dissapointing, I think the part where Zoya refused to defend herself was valid. Not from Zoya's illogical "save mummyjis feelings", but the fact that it would just have been her words against Mahis words. I think if HH really wanted to prove Mahi wrong, he should have made the interns witnesses. They could have easily attested to the fact that Zoya was completely against the marriage plan and it was Mahi who convinced her. It was Adi and Mahi who were supposed to play the happy couple and the viranis musunderstood. That would have carried more weight. So Zoya saying anything wouldn't have mattered. HH should have had the sense to get all the info and pull the interns into this instead of asking Zoya to go on the witness stand. So much for "best criminal lawyer" in the country :p

You are forgetting one crucial point here. Harsh knew nothing about what evidence would be presented in court. How can he prepare for a counter defense? The whole courtroom drama was nonsensical n the reason y I am angry is not coz Zoya's statement would certainly save both her n Adi. But it was a probability which she was willing to sacrifice to spare Madhu's feelings. Zoya didn't refuse to give her statement coz it would not make a difference like u said. She did it only to preserve that worthless woman's honour and spare Madhu the pain. Even if everything depended on her statement Zoya would have backed off for her idiotic noble reason.

I think the whole Zoya not testifying scene was written just so that Madhu backs off from her statement.. Looks like CVs couldn't come up with a better idea.. 😕 It looked so silly..

I am once again disappointed with Cinevistaas when it comes to court proceedings

I had hopes that this time it will be different but nope..it's the same

Firstly CBI usually has to present the evidence in the court a week before the proceedings otherwise the defence lawyer can take care extension on the same basis or even complaint

Secondly AdiYa having an affair doesn't mean they killed PooSh

Thirdly not a single evidence was presented in the court that could prove AdiYa were murderers

Fourth Madhu is not an eye witness so her testifying against AdiYa wouldn't have made much of a difference

Apart from this

I am also disappointed coz I thought if not all then at least some of the secrets will at lest see the light of the day

But now it seems court case will end but none of the secrets will be out and we will be back to square one

We won't come to know about Papa Hooda or Papa Sidiqui secrets

Secret of missing diary pages

Why Pooja went to the hospital etc.

As far as Zoya is concerned I think she was in character - pretty naive as usual

😆...u r not alone...i am too in it..i feel thats how her character is etched from the very beginning...she used to be like this for aditya.too..when aditya used to be all drunk and being all jerk with her...she cared.for each and everyone around..and abt her family...as she says

.she has total trust on aditya..she knws everythinh will.be cleared..just not at the cost of defaming some other women's character..
