Then: Jetha didnt work with moral ethics. So, in order to make a profit he will ask for a poor man's kidney.

Now: Now, he is such a saintly person that he will anyways fund a man whose daughter is unwell.

Then: Mehta was a genuine friend. He tried to make Jetha realise how buying kidney is illegal. When Jetha didn't listen to his advice he went straight away to Jetha's father.

Now: Even Mehta allows Jethw to take Babita signatures for an advertisement despite of knowing its illega

Then: Tappu learnt the difference between a mistake and a crime. So when he kept Gogi hidden to make him famous it wasnt just a mistake. It wasn't a mistake when he lost Madhavi's money during magic track.

Now: Tappu steals Bhide's scooter but the track concludes with the importance of having a license for driving a scooter. Stealing infact is the bigger crime which wasnt shown.

Then: Daya wasnt very idealistic. So rukmani leaves her job, she asks Jetha to co operate. She wasnt very wise

Now: Who needs a help anyways? She is holier than thou

Then: Champak Chacha wasnt very ideal man. He faked to be Jethalal to meet Tappu's principal.

Now: How dare Jetha fake Daya as his mother?

Then: Sodhi wasnt Yaaro ka Yaar. He along with Bhide enjoyed Jetha's embarassing moments.

Now: Oye jetha pra, tussi fikar mat karo, main akela hi tumhare sarr dushmano ko dher kar dunga.

Then: Bhide wasnt an idealistic teacher. He was too rpoud of his educational qualification and family back ground. He even wanted Jetha to sell his flat and go away.

Now: Gokuldham ek parivar hai.

Then: Hathi a small time, bekar MBBS doctor who didnt have any patients. Well, he was not forever hungry either.

Now: Jabardast multipurpose doctor. Like his surname he eats like an elephant.

Then: Mehta, a good writer and an intellectual among others

Now: just another idiot.

Then: Choti moti nok jhok

Now: Aise ho hi nahi sakta

Then: Different festivals like Lohri, Eid and Mahavir jayanti celebrated

Now: Behave as if other cultures dont even exist.

Then: Comedy show

Now: Dharmic show

Interesting post..If you can post it on twitter tagging all possible serial people ..Few thing I dont agree to are..The points about Sodhi yaron ka yaar ..I actually like it plus gokuldham being one big family is interesing and good thing..Thays best positive fact for me ..rest I knda agree on points like tappu sena indivisuak tappu's charscter..bapuji..whenever they used to get stuck like truck blocking main gate then water scarcity problem bhoot track..they actually had problrm which they faced together and these were still fun genuine incidents..and What I personally have appreciated is the unity but then u need to have sensible situations for this unity to show it n screen..just stupidly creating brainless situation where this unity looks forced is sad

Unity and friendship is okay but that has a limit. In the initial episodes when Bapuji comes to Mumbai and tries to lift Tappy and suffers a cramp, the GD wasis including Sodhi help him get inside. Yet he and Bhide were also partners in embarrassing Jethalal. The characters looked realistic then. Now, they are all just OTT. The latest example is the on going track. There was no need for any help here. Everyone should have kept away from it or should have asked Roshan bhabhi to have faith and wait till Sodhi voluntarily tells her about it.

How a society can get involved in personal relations between husband & wife naming it as 'ek parivar' is just beyond me. All these ladies are idiots & lady roshan is even more idiot. Even gents not even mehta says that it's their personal matter & we should not interfere. Ab kya honeymoon ko bhi society wale sath jayenge?

Privacy is appreciated in real families also. Only GD has a complete different notion about how real families work.

Few instances of bhaichara is good like jetha in pakistan, khote or Gulabo but Bagha proposing Bawri, Popat's rishta and Sodhi's secret looks weird with everyone poking their nose.

I wonder if the women dont get bored. The men t least have a world outside GD and meet different people. The women will go to shopping together, will go outing together, will go to parlour together and then arrange a separate Kitty Party also. I would have died of boredom by now.

Yes. Even when GD gents spend time together, they at least have 'khatti mithi nok jhok.' Which is at least illusion of a real friendship. Relations of these ladies is so goody goody types it always looks fake.

Nah! Its called recycling the already recycled track.In between Aiyyar and Sodhi, there was a small Mehta track where Anjali Mehta asked Mr. Mehta to bring her a surprise gift. The best Mehta brought her was a book and she got some other gifts that ddint belong to her. A saree, a wrist watch and few other things. She was disappointed but Mehta arranged the gifts she already took believing to be hers. It was as bad as the propose day tracks. And thank God Mehta didnt propose her. They look awkward as a couple where Mehta behaves like a 60 years old and Anjali like a 16 year old.

There was also ' he is having an affair' track for Mehtas. Same was for Jetha. Jetha infact had multiple such tracks. Then Aiyyar also had one. So technically this track was a recycled product of another recycle product.
