His personal life aside, dude is never gets the credit he deserves for single handedly establishing Anil K, reviving his father's alleged production house (lmao, did servant Surinder even produce movies?)
I know he is in debt and all of that, his money struggles are well documented but he did produce some of the biggest movies of the 80's even some cult movies in the 90s he never gets credit though.
If it wasnt for Boney Kapoor there would have not been an Anil Kapoor.
Boney used to borrow money from underworld to produce movies for his marginally better looking brother to help them get the family out of the ghetto.
He is always ridiculed and laughed at, but for a man to do movies such as Mr. India in 1985 (yes they said they started it in 85 and finished and released it in 87). is mind boggling.
He deserves more acclaim than he gets.
