😕 regionalism kaafi nahi tha that now casteism is also being bought into everything? What sense does it make to discuss this here? Want to campaign for reservations here too?

kyun isn't caste a reality...i am a conservative who supports affirmative action , dalit entrepreneurship , dalit identity, dalit capitalism...so is film industry restricted to previleged ones...punjabi khans in bollywood & kammas in telugu land

providing special privileges to dalits just based on their caste, is widening the divide between them and others... All these years they are getting reservations in colleges based on caste...due to which even a low percentage scoring student gets a seat (nothing wrong in this) but this increases the hatred in general crowd when they are denied the seat despite scoring more then 70-80 percent...

So in order to remove the divide its better to abolish all castes and keep everything based on talent and achievement only...

kyun nahin. there should be reservation in BW. At least it's not something critical like having doctors getting through less marks or people with less marks making India policies.

but then you are not representing the true demographic of india, the privileged one will continue outperforming, lets take neeraj ghaywan..he probably made the best in 2015 but is without work..but privileged one are getting films after making terrible films

when we promote talent only, ignoring everything else, then such problem will not arise... like Ajay-Atul... I love their music, Do I feel they deserve to make more music for BW...of course they shud... same for Illaya Raja and Nagraj Manjule (people know him only for sairaat, but his other movie is also very good)

It will take time... but somewhere we have to take a stand... helping dalits and low strata people is important... But I have seen cases like Rich Dalits who take advantage of the privileges despite not needing it...

Also I think 60 years of reservations has being good enough... now its high time government shud seek to bring an equality... but I also know that this will never happen
