IshRa are now settled in Mumbai. Raman works as project manager in a MNC while Ishu is house wife. They have two children Adi and Ruhi. Adi, their 5 year old son and Ruhi their one year old daughter. They have broken all the ties with Iyers. Mr Iyer and Subbu are still in jail, for attempt to murder.

Raman: Ishita.. Ishita jaldi karo yaar.. mujhe office keliye late horaha hai..

Ishu: Haan Raman.. bas do minute..

Ishu came out of the kitchen with garam garam aloo paratha and served him. They were having their breakfast feeding each other when they heard their baby girl crying. Both went to kids' room. There Ruhi was sitting on her bed completely trapped in her duvet making it impossible for her to move. Raman detangled her from it took her in his arms wiping her tears. Adi too came out of washroom completely ready for his school.

After making them have breakfast both Raman and Adi left for their office and school respectively. Ishu gave Ruhi a bath and fed her.

Ishu *grinning*: Seems like now its mumma Ruhi time

Ruhi smiled excitedly nodding her head showing her tiny weeny teeth. Ishu smiled at her cuteness and picked her.

Ishu: Acha Rooh.. aaj hum kya karenge??

Ruhi: Peekaboo... *in her babyish slang*

Ishu: Oh my baby wants to play hide n seek with mumma.. Teekhe.. mumma will count you go and hide somewhere okay.

Ruhi nodded her head happily and walked away with her baby steps somewhere.

Ishu: 10.. 9.. ... 3.. 2.. 1.. Here I come.

She saw little legs behind the curtain and smiled to herself and walked to the dinning table. She bend down the table, "Rooh toh yahan nahi hai.. phir kahan hogii.. haan sofa ka peeche hogii.. yahan bhi nahi.. Rooh! Rooh!". After walking around the whole house she came near the curtain and spoke removing the curtain from Ruhi, "Rooh.. Rooh.. Here she is.."

Little Ruhi laughed aloud seeing this and hide her face with her palms. Her laughter echoed the whole house filling her mumma's heart with the happiness.

Ishu: Accha Rooh.. now it's painting time.. chalo chalo..

Ishu took out the crayons water colour and a canvas.

Ruhi: Looh vegbles chah..

Ishu: Meri Rooh baccha ko vegetables chahiye.. par kyu

Ruhi: Aise aise kal.. *she said pressing her hands on the canvas as if telling her mumma that she wants to do vegetable painting.*

Ishu came out of the kitchen with cut pieces of onion, lady's finger, capsicum and carrot. Ruhi clapped her hands excitedly. Ishu gave her the vegetables and put the paints on a plate and gave her. She began to stamp the vegetables on the canvas and clapped her hands seeing the colour. When they finished their painting session both mom and daughter where fully coloured.

Then they took bath, had their lunch and slept cuddling into each other.

Adi came back home at 3.

Ishu: Adiii.. agaya mera baccha.. how was your day? *she asked feeding him his sandwich*

Adi narrated his day to his mumma munching the sandwich. After his snacks, Ishu gave him a bath. By that time Ruhi woke up, and soon trio (IshRuDi) went to the park. Adi played with his friends while Ishu made Ruhi slide and swing in park. They came back home at 6. Making Ruhi sit in her floor in the kitchen with her dolls she called Adi.

Ishu: Adi beta jakar aapna books lekar kitchen mein aavo.. mumma will help you in homework.

Adi: Okay mumma.. *and came to kitchen with his book and sat with Ruhi.*

Ishu helped Adi in between making the dinner and keeping an eye on Ruhi.

At half past 7, Raman came back tired. He came after freshening up and spend sometime with kids playing with them. They all had dinner, together they put AdiRu to sleep and went back to their room.

It was their daily routine.

One evening Mihika called Raman. She invited them for her marriage. Ishu denied as she was really scared of going back there. But after a lot of pleading from Mihika she agreed. They were supposed to leave on the very next day. Raman applied for his leave and asked Ishu to pack their stuffs and went to inform their children. Kids were really excited to go out.

They were on their train, back to Ishu's village. Next day they reached there. Mihika was there on the station to pick them. She took them home, amma welcomed them in. AdiRu were excited seeing loads of people everywhere. Ruhi was with Ishu all the time while Adi mingled with the kids there and he was in full masti mood. Their classmates (IshRa and Mihika studied in the same class.. remember!!) too were present so Raman too got his company. Amma took Ishu with her.

Amma: Ishu yepidi iruke enn kanna? Raman unne nalla pathukirana?? (How are you Ishu? Is Raman keeping you happy?)

Ishu: Naan nalla iruke amma.. Avar enne nalapadiya pathukond irikirar naan romba santhoshama iruke (I'm fine Amma.. He is so good and I'm very happy.)

She saw Ruhi in Ishu's hands and caressed her face. Ruhi was looking at her with her big innocent eyes. Madhu couldn't resist but plant a kiss on her chubby cheeks and took her in her arms.

Ishu: Adi.. beta idhar aavo.. *to amma* amma ye hai Adi, mera beta.

Amma kissed Adi's cheek too. Adi kissed his paati back and ran back to play with his new friends.

After dinner, IshRaRuDi where in Ishu's room. AdiRu had already slept, Ishu was sitting beside Raman keeping her head on his shoulder. He wrapped his hand around her and kissed her hair.

Raman: Kya soch rahi ho?

Ishu: Nothing bas aisa hii.. yahan kitna change hogaya na.. see Mikhu is marrying her boyfriend, all agreed for it.

Raman: So what? Ain't you happy for Mihika?

Ishu: What rubbish Raman.. I'm so happy for her. It's just I was thinking that now people here so happy, they were scared of appa. Kitne log unhe curse kiya hoga na..

Raman *caressing her hair*: Are you missing him?

Ishu: Nahi Raman.. I was just thinking.. woh sab chodo aur sojaavo.. subhah jaldi udna hai..

She lied down pretending to sleep, Raman too slept. Next day Amma woke Ishu at 4 in the morning. She got ready and woke Raman and kids. He bathed the kids as she was already ready in her saree. He too got ready and all four came down together. Raman and Adi were dressed in white veshti and shirt while Ishu in kanchipuram saree and lil Ruhi was dressed in pattu pavadai adorned like a doll.

Soon the marriage rituals began. IshRa were standing side by side with Ruhi sleeping in his arms. Adi too was standing besides Ishita hugging her by her waist as he was also very sleepy.

IshRa were lost seeing the rituals and thinking about their own marriage. Even though their's was a small function with just them and Mihir it was the most beautiful moment of their life. Their eyes were moist. Soon marriage got over and all returned home.

All guests left, now only IshRaRuDi, Mihika, her husband, her mother and Amma were present. Day somehow passed with all the rituals.

Next day, IshRaRuDi were leaving back to Mumbai. Amma was sad and asked her to stay for a few more days.

Amma: Ishu todhi din aur rukh jaavona??

Ishu: Ille amma, Raman ka office hai aur Adi ka school.. we will come some other time amma..

Adi: Bye paati.. we will come for my vacation aap please cry cry maath karo.. *and kissed her cheek*

Ishu: Raman aap bags cab mein rakh doh.. I will just say bye to Miku and come.

Raman: Okay

When he was about to step out of the door, someone kicked him so hard that he fell down with a THUD sound. Ishu saw this and shouted "Raman!! Raman kya huwa.." and ran to him with Ruhi in her hands and hugged him tight. Adi too ran to them and hugged them being scared.

Ishu turned to look at the person who kicked Raman and was shocked to see Subbu and her Appa standing there with a smirk.

Raman was about to stand up when Subbu pushed him again. He clutched Ishu by her hair and pulled her to him. Ishu cried in pain, seeing this Ruhi, who was in Ishu's arm, hugged her tighter and cried.

Subbu: Tumne iss keliye mujhe chodana.. *and kicked Raman*

Adi ran to Raman and hugged him crying being scared. Subbu pulled Ishu's hair more making her shriek in pain.

Raman ran to Ishu and released her from Subbu's clutches. Ishu too hugged Raman being scared. Adi was clung on Raman's leg and peeped out. Raman was too busy in consoling scared IshRu that he didn't notice Subbu's devilish gaze on his son. Subbu walked towards Adi. Amma saw this and pulled Adi to her. He sighed in defeat and saw IshRa together, which angered him more.

So he again pulled Raman and was hitting him. Raman too hit him back and both were indulged in their fight. IshRuDi were crying asking Subbu to leave Raman. Ishu and Adi tried to run to Raman but others stopped them.

Ishu saw her appa standing at the door and ran to him with Ruhi clung on to her and fell on his legs begging to save her husband's life. But appa shrugged his legs which hit Ruhi's nose unknowingly. Her nose began bleeding. Ishu felt something dripping from Ruhi's face and was shocked to see her bleeding nose. She shouted

"RAMAN!! Raman dekho Ruhi.. Ruhi bacha uto.. Raman Raman, Ruhi ki naat se khoon.. Raman.."

By then Ruhi's cry stopped and she was unconscious now. Ishu tried to wake her up, she got scared seeing her not responding.

All turned to Ishu hearing her scream and was shocked to see lil Ruhi's condition. Raman tried to come near them but Subbu was going on beating him. Ishu just ran out holding Ruhi to tight. Adi too pushed his paati and ran to save his papa. Adi bite Subbu so hard, Subbu got angry and was about to slap Adi when Raman stopped him and pushed him away. Soon men of the village came there as they came to know of all these rucks and pushed subbu and hit him black and blue. Appa was shocked to see them hitting Subbu.

One of the villager: Raman.. Ishu bittiya ne Ruhi bittiya ko ye ghaav ke hospital mein lekar gayi hai.. aap jaavo, hum iss subbu ko dekhlenge..

Raman thanked them and rushed to the Village Hospital with Adi and Amma. He saw Ishu standing outside a room. As soon as she saw Raman she threw herself on him and cried. Raman too cried and was blaming himself for Ruhi's condition.

Raman: All this happened because of me. I forced you to come here. Meri Ruhi

Adi saw his papa crying and wiped his tears and said: Papa Ruhi chuhi ko kuch nahi hoga. Woh mera strong baby hai..

Raman hugged Adi and Ishu tight and cried. Doctor came out of the room, IshRa ran to him.

Doc: Don't worry. She fainted due to continuous cry. Nose bleeding was due to that hit on her nose. Thank fully koi fracture nahi hai. She is sleeping now, you can take her home.

They thanked the doctor, he picked Ruhi in his arms and they all came out of the hospital.

Outside the hospital they saw Appa standing there. Seeing him Ishu and Adi held RuMan tight. Appa came near them and was about to touch Ruhi when Adi pushed him. Raman scolded Adi but Ishu supported him.

Ishu: Kyu Adi ko daant rahe ho Raman. If not him I would have pushed him

Appa: Ishu..

Ishu: Don't.. aapke mooh se meri naam bhi maath lena.. Are you a human being? Aapka gussa aapne meri beti par nikala, meri choti si bachhi par. How could you?? Chalo Raman.. lets go..

Appa: Ishu beta please mujhe maaf kardo.. mein gussa mein pagal hogaya dhaa..

Ishu: Oh my god! The great Vishwanathan Iyer is apologising.. kaisa huwa ye badlaava.. I know I did wrong by marrying Raman against your wish but I don't regret it. Just look around, look how is place now. It's so developed, people are so happy. It because you weren't here. Aapko kya lagta hai log aapki izzat karthi hai isiliye woh aapki baat sunthi dhi.. sorry to burst your bubble, woh isiliye maanthi dhi kyunki woh aapse darthi dhii. You scared people, you kept them captivated. You are a hypocrite. Haar ek ko aapki baath sunna hoti hai nahi toh you will just kill them. And you yourself claim to be the best leader, you are the worst appa. Leader is the one who gives his hands to his followers and raises them to his level.

Appa was standing head low feeling so ashamed for his past deeds. He apologised to Ishu and every people of the village.

Raman: He is changed jaan.. just forgive him. I know how much you crave for him

Ishu looked at him, he blinked his eyes assuring her that what she heard is true. Appa came near her and again said sorry. She hugged him tight and said sorry for speaking so rudely to him. Appa too hugged her back, both were crying in each other's embrace. After sometimes he broke the hug and kissed her temple. He turned to Raman and apologised to him. That's when he saw Adi and Ruhi and hugged them too. He even apologised to Adi and Ruhi. They being the cute understanding kids forgave him.
