@bold i second ya! They have played with so many different subjects that were never in the novel, a few loopholes in the characterisation included but if they were rewriting the plot and introducing another couple they should have thought about a proper closure to them as well which they didn't.
P. S The actress in the movie is so much better and there is just ONE kiss in the whole movie and it can rival and win over all of the show's 'kisses'.
In the last 2 episodes I was just waiting for just a tiny winy scene between them to show that they also got along... But alas the wait was of no worth😭
