Veere Di Wedding

has had another good day with business of 11.50 crore nett. This has taken the film to a solid 22.25 crore nett in two days. The growth is limited but it will do for the film as the first day number was very good. The film could have been flat or even dropped but the urban youth is coming for the film especially in Delhi NCR and Punjab belt.

The growth has come from the metros while other centers are flat or down but this is sort of expected as the core conservative audience is not really going to come for the film and the ones who do will not appreciate anyway. The Sunday growth for the film could also be limited but that will not stop a very good weekend and with Delhi NCR and Punjab leading the way it should be able to hold well enough till Race 3.

Veere Di Wedding has chances of emerging a surprise HIT on the strength of the urban crowd although its dependson what happens post the weekend.
