My take:-

Like kkkg ,Dayawanti hates muslims .Ashish had fallen for ayesha and they confessed each other.

But dayawanti wants ashish to marry her friend's daughter neela.Ashish refused and goes to abroad along with ayesha and nanno.Soon they had a child and name her avni😛 and after a few years a boy named aman

Here in india neela will have married another guy and they had a boy and name him neil😆 .Since dayawanti had not kept her promise to neela of making her bahu,she again promise neela that she will give her grand daughter riya's hand to neil

Bechara neil made an excuse to study further in abroad and ran away😃

There in college ,he meets avni

They become enemies first

After a couple of fights ,they realized their love for each other

Avni brings neil to her house to tell her parents that they love each other

Nanno finds out neil is neela's son and the family is overwhelmed

Neil comes to india along with avni &family and informs neela that he will marry dayawanti's granddaughter.

Neela was like agar shaadi karni hai tho bhaaga hi kyun?

Neil must have said "Mom I am talking about avni ,Ashish uncle's daughter not that chipkoo riya"

Neela gets happy

When dayawanti learns about neil's return with Ashish&family

She thinks chalo riya nahi tho avni ,promise tho pura hogaa naa

and free mein mehta khaandhan ko aman ke roop mein heir milegaa

So she accepted
