Apni jaan bachane ki koshish woh Farash mein aram se reh nahi rehthe.woh kaid the.and alaxandar be farash ko apnane ki baat ki toh .toh unhone nahi socha .what the big deal.ab barsine aur uski family ne bhagne ki koshish ki this.they knew if they choose to stay .toh unhe suffer karna padega .phir bhi she chooses to stay.that proved she is not selfish aur coward toh bilkul nahi.. She is a ordinary character .yaha tak ki queen padmavadi she have many queens and servants phir bhi unhone suicide ka rashta Chuna tha. They have also their public right iske barein mein kya kehna hai.

Totally agree, PR ky kare, is forum ke logo KO har cheez me negativity dikhayi deti h. Agr extraordinary dikhaya to problem, AGR normal human Ki trh reaction dikhaya to bhi problem h.

Rani padmabati ne baki sari queens k sath suicide kiya no it is not cowardice act.They have self respect chahe kuch bhi hojaye sar nai jhukayenge apni jaan deneko darege nai.

Av kya h alex ne faras k logoko kuch nai kiya jabtak royal ladies unke sath h.as per show he is using them just to track where is darius.

Yahan agar koi Indian queen(jaisa humne indian history me dekha like padmabati)hoti wo chahe mar jayegi par apne logoko chodke nai jayegi.

Agar Indians persian ladies ko rehne na de toh kya hoga?

Indians k liye darius bhi enemy h uski family ko accept karega kya koi.

Agar alex na bolta toh barsine and family chali gai hoti.

But still unke rehenese faras walo toh safe rehenge.

Rani Padmini commited jauhar 4 her pride , coz she courageous lady , plz don't compare Rani Padmini with Sony TV barsine. Jauhar commit karne ke liye bhi courage ki zarurat parti hai , barsine Mai vo bhi nhi hai. Rani Padmini was not coward who dint thought about her people or any one else reminded her of her queen's duty. 16000 women committed jauhar with Rani padmani who leaded it. Rani Padmini ki story bilkul hi alag hai barsine.

Usne ek Baar nhi socha uske Jane ke Baad agar Puru Ko kuch hogaya to , bas Puru ne keh diya to madam ji chal pari, ek Baar turn karke Puru Ko bhi nhi dekha ki vo thik hai ki nhi

Rani Padmini's husband ratansen died in d battle , alludin killji was lusting after her , so she decided end her life with pride , barsine case is diff , Alex never touch her or saw her in a wr ong way, forget lusting after her.

Alex nai Abhi tak kuch bhi nhi Kiya barsine & company ke saath.

Exactly! In those days, women of conquered lands were treated like spoils of war and held captive, abused, etc.

Alexander did none of that, even though he had the power to do so. Earlier, he just was annoyed that the ladies didn't appreciate his gesture of kindness, but now they've betrayed him in such a way that I don't think he can forgive or forget easily.

If Alexander wants to hurt innocent people, he can do that even with the ladies staying in Faras. Their presence does not influence his attitude towards his new subjects, but they don't know that do they? The ladies have been fearing him from day one as if he's a monster out to devour everyone even though he said clearly he would kill anyone who tried to harm them, but now he's playing on this (unfounded) fear to scare everyone into thinking he will mistreat people in their absence. He would not have harmed the Farsi people if the ladies had actually left. He doesn't gain anything by it. He was just issuing a threat to make the ladies realize that in theory the people were at his mercy and he could do anything he wanted after their departure.

I don't know if or how he'll punish the ladies, but he definitely has something in mind for making them stay back. He shamed them in front of people because he himself cannot tolerate such cowardly behavior. He kept referring to Darius' cowardice because he wanted to remind Barsine how she felt when deserted by her father, and how the people would now feel if they left. He's teaching her indirectly to be a real princess of the people in good times and bad, the real shaahi adab. Of course, the CVs might just make this another evil act, but it is clear that Alexander is quick-witted enough to use his words very effectively.

Historically Alexander, in war and peace, always led from the front. He was always amongst his people whatever the situation may have been and this is the quality that he's trying to highlight to the ladies that the shaahi khaandaan must have. They had the love and respect of people when Darius was in power, but the moment the people have been left leaderless, they cannot just be abandoned.

But how can we compare barsine's cowardly act 2 Rani padmini's jauhar.

If laachi was in barsine's position I m sure she would had fighted Alex never thought running away.

Had Lacchi been in Barsine's position then she would have tried to reason it out with Alexander and faced him.And she would have surely won his respect.

The problem doesn't lie with Barsine and co wishing for freedom and trying to save their lives.They are human beings at the end of the day.

If they wanted to leave the place with Puru then it doesn't make them 'selfish' or 'cowardly' IMO.

But it certainly makes them foolish.

That period was a period where survival of the fittest was the norm.In other words literal Jungle Raaj chalta tha wahan.Common people were never safe.Let alone women who didn't have any protection.

Barsine and her family were infact lucky that their conqueror was someone like Alexander who treated them with respect and dignity.He was willing to take care of them and protect them.Kya Alexander unn teeno ko qaidkhaane main rakh raha tha? Ya phir torture kar raha tha?

Had it been someone like the Mongols or Khilji then the three women would have been treated like spoils of war and turned into slaves.

Barsine had no reason to be afraid of Alexander.Had she applied her brains then she could have won his confidence and even helped the public of Faras in some way or other.

And let's imagine for a second that Puru did manage to take them out of Faras.Uske baad kya hota? Teeno jaake PR main rehte kya? From all we have observed they didn't know how to defend themselves and had been living a sheltered life all along.So how would they fend for themselves? PR main aam janta banke kaise rehte?Ya phir Puru uthata unki responsibility by marrying Barsine himself and getting Drypteis married to Kanishk?

Had Alexander been a monster like other invaders who treated women like trash then I would have wholeheartedly supported the rescue mission and would have rooted for Barsine to run away with Puru.

But here it was an absolutely pointless and unnecessary move.
