She approached the father daughter duo, admiring them. It's already 8 and you are still in bed..get up na Shaurya..she said while patting his shoulder. He tried to take his finger from the little one's hold..and got up from the bed gently pecking their angel's forehead. After a while, he freshens up and gets ready to leave for WC. Common Mehak, let's have breakfast..he said. You go na.. It's time for baby's bath...so we"ll join u after that...she replied while keeping a baby bathtub in their balcony. Fine..then we'll go together after my angel's bath..he replied while trying to hold the little one in his arms. No Shaurya.. You"ll get late... She replied while arranging the massage oil, bathing bar, towel etc... No am not going anywhere, let me check whether u are taking proper care of my angel or not..he replied with a naughty smirk.. While she pouted angrily.. He carried the little one and placed her in the bathtub. He knelt down admiring his angel..while mehek gave the LiL one a body massage. The little one enjoyed her massage and started playing with water loving her bath and splashed the soapy water on to his shirt... Shaurya a gave a helpless look..while mehak tried her best to control her laughter... Like father..like daughter..naughty minded.. Mehak taunted Shaurya.
After the relaxing bath the little one got into a deep slumber. He changed his clothes nd mehrya left to the dining area. After breakfast, they came to their room. He rushed to the cradle nd slowly bent nd kissed the little one's cheek gently.. The little one showed up signs of waking up. See Mehak.. Shez awake...am not going anywhere...ask Vicky to cancel all the meetings..I wanna play with my angel today.. He shouted like an excited child. Shhh..Mehak shushed him by keeping her index finger on his lips. Are you mad haan? Bachi ko sone bhi nahi deta( you won't allow baby to sleep). I can't handle two babies..ok.. How long are you planning to be at home?..she questioned him.. You go to WC...go nd handle business. I"ll be here with my angel..I wanna play with her all day...he retorted back. Uffo...Shaurya..you are too much...baby will be sleeping always...and you can meet her at evening right?...now no more excuses...leave now..leave..leave...she ordered.. Ok fine, then..he replied with a sad pout and turned to leave. Shaurya...called mehak. He turned back excitedly. Bye ..bye..akdu papa nd all the best for your meeting..she said with a naughty wink while waving at him. He left annoyingly, while she laughed at his cuteness.
Later that Afternoon. Mehak was playing with the little one. Suddenly her phone beeped nd she found shaurya's message..nd they began their convo..
S: What's my baby doing?
M: Which baby?
S: Not you moti 😆 ..am asking about my angel..
M: How rude.. 😡
S: Don't raise ur bp wifey.. Now relax nd tell me what's my little one doing.
Mehak thought for a while nd replied
M: Sleeping.
S: Sacchi?(is it). Don't lie..
M: Mucchi(yes it is)
S: Fine, then send me a pic of her..
Omg.. Now am gone..mehal told herself..and she didn't reply.
After few seconds
S: Oh hello! Are you there?
S: Where is the pic?
Still she didn't reply. He was getting impatient nd went for a video call. Now Mehal was left with no option nd she answered the call.. Shaurie saw the little one playing nd making cute gestures. You liar..you said she is sleeping.. See she's awake..nd am not with her only because of you..he complained like an innocent child. Shauryaaa..just relax na..she"ll be awake only for a short duration..see she"ll go back to her slumber in a while...mehak replied comforting him. He kept on adoring his angel throughout the call. He hunged up the call sending the mother- daughter duo lots of flying kisses...when he was called for the meeting.
Later that evening..shaurie reached back home nd found the mother -daughter duo standing at the corridor to welcome him. He ran towards them in excitement, took the little one in his arms..showering her with numerous kisses. You missed me .haan? He asked the little one while nuzzling his nose onto that of the LiL one. Just then..Dolly Maasi approached them nd said.."Lalla, see after few days we have to organize baby's naming ceremony. Have u thought of any name?". Oh no.. We haven't discussed about it..shaurie replied worriedly looking at Mehak... What were you doing all these months ..haan? You didn't get time to think of a name?..maasi questioned teasingly. Your Bahu never let me sleep peacefully... Whole 24hrs I've been tolerating her tantrums nd mood swings..then how can I find time to think about a name...he said in a complaining tone. And what about you bahu?..massi asked mehak. No massi..mehal replied shyingly.. She can think only about food..nothing else.. Shaurie added. Ok fine, now you two don't start fighting. I'll suggest few names...said maasi. Maasi I don't want any old fashioned names like the names of goddesses or rivers..he said annoyingly. Yes Maasi..Bhai is right..you should suggest some names related to bhai nd bhabhi's name...added Vicky. Hmm..what about Khushboo? It resembles bahu's name ..right? ..asked maasi excitedly. . Main koi scent Ki dukaan nahi khol raha( am not opening a shop for scents)..mehak, Khushboo..any more homonymns left? ..shaurie said annoyingly. . Ok fine ..we'll call her angry bird...which resembles your nature more lalla... Said maasi. All started laughing seeing an annoyed shaurie. I"ll decide myself..ok ..no more suggestions...said shaurie and left for their room with his angel. Mehak followed him contolling her laughter.
At night... Shaurya nd mehak were lying on their tummy nd playing with their bundle of joy. Don't worry my angel...dadz will choose a good nd classy name for you..afterall you are Shaurya khanna's daughter. ..shaurya said with a naughty smirk stessing each word.. Mehak got irritated and replied..Oh hello! She's mine too..I will decide a name for her.. Oh please...moti mamma..we don't want any middle class name..especially the name of any food...shaurie replied teasingly.. Fine, then you decide yourself..she retorted back. See baby...your papa has a long list of girlfriends..so it"ll be easy for him to pick one name...shruti, Nikita..nd many more...said mehek teasingly. Shaurie immediately covered the little one's ears with his palms..and shushed mehak nd said..you are spoiling my image infront of my baby. What will she think about me? ... Mehak laughted at his gesture. Ok fine I'm feeling sleepy..you take care of baby haan...said mehak. Am feeling too sleepy...you never let me sleep peacefully all these months right? Now its payback time...my baby will be awake whole night...wow.. Good night sweetheart...he said with a victorious smile and turned to sleep. While mehak made a cute pout, looking at her angel.
After few days.. One morning. Shaurie came to his room after his morning sprint. Mehak get me a coffee..he ordered. You ask Aawara bhaiyya..am busy she replied. Why are u so busy haan?..I"ll do it now go nd get it dear..common...he said. You can't do it Shaurya..she replied. So you are challenging me..haan?..he said with a naughty smirk. Ok fine ,then change baby's diaper ..she said nd left from the room . Shaurie stood there perplexed. Just then Aawara pass by their room..he signalled Aawara to come in. Aawara change baby's diaper, fast ...he ordered. Sorry sir..I don't know...Aawara replied lowering his eyes. What the hell! You don't know? For what I've hired you..haan?...shaurie reciprocated angrily.. You know how to sing lullabies nd you don't know how to change baby's diaper...strange..added Shaurya. Am not married sir..replied Aawara. Is that my fault..shaurya asked annoyingly. You people are of no use..leave now...said an irritated shaurie...while Aawara left hiding his smile..seeing his boss's antics.
You are gone Shaurya...what was the need to challenge mehak?...he said himself while slapping his cheek. After few minutes, mehak returned to her room with coffee...and the scene before her made her laugh like a fool...shaurie was trying to change baby's diaper while watching a video of the same... What happened Shaurya Khanna..all ok..she asked him. Shaurie suddenly hid his mobile beneath a pillow. Ya..everything is fine...am changing her diaper...he replied. Mehak pulled his nose nd said...I'll teach you my dear hubby..its easy..now just pause that video. Shaurie smiled sheepishly..after realising that he is caught.
After few days.. . A naming ceremony was arranged at KM. All family members were eagerly waiting to know their princess's name. Even mehak didn't knew about it. She had been asking Shaurya all these days, but he never disclosed it. The pandit arrived nd started the pooja. After which, Shaurya was asked to announce the name. Mehak was holding their bundle of joy in her arms, shaurie sidehugged her..gently caressed his little one's cheek..and said...she's our precious gift and am naming her as 'Meher' ..Meher Shaurya Khanna. All clapped. Wow..jiju...what does it mean?..asked Nehal excitedly. 'Meher' it means benevolence... I'm sure our angel will be kind nd innocent just like her mother...replied shaurie. And it resembles my sweet wifey's name too..right Mehak? ..he said with tears of joy in eyes and pecked mehek's forehead.. Hope you liked it jaan..he said while caressing mehak's face. Mehak broke into tears nd hugged him tightly and said...I love you Shaurya...nd she kissed his cheek. Ahem..Ahem...this is not your bedroom lovebirds..teased Nehal. All laughed while mehak nd shaurya blushed hearing that.
Shaurie nd mehak addressed the little one in unison...Meher..nd the LiL one replied with a cute giggle.
After six months..
One morning..Mehak woke up from her sleep..nd she found both father nd daughter missing. Shaurya where are you?..where is Meher?...no reply came. She rushed to the balcony...nd found Shaurya busy with his sprint. She got worried. She inquired everyone at home about baby...all got worried. She broke into tears nd ran towards Shaurya. All followed her. Shaurya was standing near the pool. Mehak shouted his name ..nd he couldn't hear her as he had headphones. He turned back to resume his jog...nd he was perplexed to see his whole family staring at him. Suddenly a smile crept on everyone's face. Shaurya was carrying the little one in a baby carrier. Mehal wiped her tears nd approached him...nd started hitting his chest...Hey why r u beating me?.nd why were u crying wifey...shaurie asked. Why you didn't tell me that you are taking baby along with you... Nd who gave you the permission to take my baby for sprint..that too early morning..what if she catches cold...replied an angry Mehak. Shaurya stood there silently..watching her sherni mode. Come baby...mamma will take you to room..your papa has no brains...saying this she tried to take the little one out of the carrier..but the LiL one started crying.shaurya burst into laughter..while she left from there blabbering . Shaurie followed her. Mehak rolled on to her bed . Shaurie undid the belts of the carrier and gently placed the Lil one near Mehak. He too joined them on bed...nd started tickling mehak..the little one also joined her dadz to lighten her mamma's mood...mehek couldn't resist her laugh anymore nd she laughed endlessly..while shaurie gave a hi-fi to his Lil one.
After six months..
Meher turned a year old. Shaurie threw a big party at WC. She received many gifts as well as everyone's blessings. Next day, morning. Mehak was taking her shower. Shaurya was busy playing video games with Meher. Suddenly he thought to play a prank. Mehak...Mehak...see... What happened to Meher?...he shouted. Mehak got worried. She stepped out of the washroom in bathrobe..water was still dripping from her hair... What happened? Haan... Shaurya tell me...she sounded worried. See Mehak...she has qualified level one...shaurie said with a naughty smile. Mehak got annoyed...she understood it's a prank...she started throwing pillows onto him. He jumped up from the bed nd holded her by her waist. If I never played a prank...then I could've missed this sight...he said in sensuous tone..studying her wet body. Chee..shut up...don't you have shame..baby is watching us...mehak said while trying to get rid of his hold. He holded her even more tight nd said...let her see ...atleast she'll get to know what is romance...don't know whether your unromantic thoughts have influenced her..when she was in your womb. He leaned to capture her lips.. "wath e ill"...said Meher..nd it broke her parents trance. What did she say...he asked an equally surprised mehak. They rushed towards the little one asking her to repeat the words...she repeated the same. I think its a different language..said Shaurya. Mehak tried to decode it..nd said its not a different language...its your stupid language hubby...she is saying What the hell.
See you are spoiling her...she never said maa aur papa..she's catching up your words...blabbered mehak. While Shaurya covered his mouth with his palm...to hide his laughter..
Next day, three of them left for Sharma house. See kanta our laddoos have arrived..shouted an excited PD
Sirf laddoo hi nahi karela bhi saath aaya hoon PD( bitter gourd is also here along with your laddoos) ...said Shaurya with a wink. All the Sharmaas greeted them. KC fed Meher some sweets while she was looking at her dadz . Meher baby..don't look at ur dad while eating..he"ll be counting calories...mehak said intending to tease her hubby. While Shaurya smiled at his lil angel. After spending some time at Sharma house ..mehrya left for KM with their bundle joy...Meher.
