So in a nutshell.....i think we should learn a lesson from tht ghori's invasion.........

but that was all long back arshit.. almost 30-40 yrs back.. it was like.. hindi was supposed to be made compulsory all over india... but the southern states objected.. nthen hindi was made optional along with the state language.. so that problem was solved..

I was searching for some info on Akbar (coz I loved Jodha Akbar very much) and I came across this info..The page had an account of attrocities done by all the invaders frm time to time and some info was really shocking. This is what Mahmud Ghazni did ..(He invaded India before Ghori..)

"Mahmud's sack of Somnath is too well-known to be retold here. What needs emphasizing is that the fragments of the famous Sivalinga were carried to Ghazni. Some of them were turned into steps of the Jama Masjid in that city. The rest were sent to Mecca, Medina, and Baghdad to be desecrated in the same manner."

This website..I can't say abt it's credibility but it sheds some light on the state of affairs at the time of Akbar ..They put Akbar in the same league as Babur and Aurangzeb. I doubt it coz it's a hindu blog site..some fanatics can go to any length..but still it can be true..coz they had all references from Akbarnama and Ain-e-Akbari ..and also eyewitness accounts of some foreigners who visited India at that time.
