My mother watches all serial of that channel 🤔 and one day she was saying to me when I was trying to sleep to get rid of her serial torture,
"Look, the guys is marrying his bodyguard"
"WHAT!"(no, i didn't screamed 😆, i said that in my mind)
It is not new, cause there are tons of bangla copy cat serial of hindi, and many hindi even copied bangla serials

Actually this kind of things happens when a serial in particular region grabs huge amount of TRP, and the copy cat business starts...and guess what , people loves that "copied" version. Cause in this both region their taste is somehow same. Sometimes they even copy line to line and sometimes modified version.
Which happened with this bangla serial name "Jibon Joty". The story is very different but the concept is not. What I mean to say, marrying female bodyguard concept is born with Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya. Our serial started at 7 Nov 2017, and this bangla serial started at 19 March 2018.
I am not accusing this serial, that they have copied our show, cause there is no similarities, I am saying this again, but it has that arrogant male who never believes his wife, married her to punish her, lots and lots of saas bahu drama and especially designed for TRP aunties.
