Naamkaran a journey started on 12th September 2016 with little Avni .A 10 yr old innocent child with thousands of dreams floating in the clear of those eyes.Her dreams...to have a normal family.The struggle that she endures to fulfill her dream , the journey of her innocence getting wiped off with the cruel norms and stringent rules of the society and her fight to get rid of the illegitimate tag... is what started off this journey of NK.
Avni's journey never became easier, every step of d fight was laden with difficulties which tested her in every way possible. But when you have people who stand by you no matter what, people who fight with you and for you, then you only get stronger.Same was the case with Avni.
With a mother like Neela Ma who always pointed her to the right direction, who could read her daughter through and through, who stood like a shield infront of her, how could Avni lose or give up.In the form of Neela Ma NK gave us a new perspective of stepmother...she is just a regular mother without the need of the adjective 'step'.Neela Ma your 'bacha' will remain embedded in our hearts forever.
Ali and Avni became friendship goals.Theirs was the kind of frndshp one would cherish life long , the kind of friendship you wouldn't mind dying for or living a whole life waiting for.
Avni was like wild storm who didn't mind destroying herself in the process of destroying her enemies...until she met her calmness in Neil.Just like his name he brought the tranquility of the clear sky in her life.He brought about the stillness ( tehrav) in the roaring waves of Ananya Verma and turned her back into the lovable Avni Ayesha.Slowly and steadily he made his way into her heart breaking all chains that bound it and... thus brought back love into her life.This started the most epic love story of our generation.A love story that we would all remember in all times to come.
Neil and Avni became Avneil...two bodies one soul. Their love is one to be remembered and rejoiced.Love that begins with understanding.Love where the happiness of the other means more than your own.Love that teaches respect for one another.Love that teaches acceptance of all flaws.Love that accepts the past as past.Love that teaches you to fight and stand up for one another.Love that teaches you the true meaning of sacrifice. Love that makes you feel loved.Love that makes the butterflies in your belly go crazy.Love that gives a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Love...that is unconditional and eternal...the can't live without one another love. AVNEIL are undoubtedly and unquestionably the couple of the decade and their love story one eternal one.
How can I forget Prakash Papa who proved father-in-law can also be a father to his daughter-in-law in all manners of the word.A great deal of respect is what I hv for this man who not only said but became the father Avni never had.
A special mention to Neil Khanna...who besides being Avni's love, proved to all that not all men are the same.He proved what it meant to be equal in a relationship.He has shown us all what honesty in a relationship means and how much importance respect in a relationship holds.
PS : This is ignoring everything that happened in dese few days/ months.
NK also gave us lovable characters like DD, Sunheri, tara,sitara, Mowgli, Nano, Bebe ,Diksha, KK and Shweta.
It also gave us memorable villians like DVM,RP, Vidyut and Kamini.
and some unforgivable third angles whose naamkaran the FD so lovingly did.
So today the long journey of Avni Ayesha will come to an end.The fierce tigress who breathed fire, who didn't mind becoming a timid person for her family will adorn our screens for one last time today.The girl who taught every one of us that a girl can be equally strong and empathetic will bid us farewell.The fighter who had become a role model for every girl in these past 1 and half yrs ( approx) will leave us with only her memories and her never say die spirit.The girl will be gone but her journey will always remain wid us forever.
All I hope for the little Avni to finally have her happy family.
