Night,

Maaneet were in their bedroom after dinner...Shilpa again took Maya's responsibility for the night and Maan couldn't thank enough for her this kindness... He loved Maya, but he wanted to spend some time alone with Geet...There was no time for him in office to spent with her since either he was busy in his meetings or Geet with her work...So, here they were all alone...Geet was setting her hairs, while Maan already was in bed...

Maan:- So, how was your first day as Mrs GMSK???

Geet:- It was hectic...

Maan(laughed):- Seriously, you aren't really into business matters and already hectic???

Geet:- Well, I think your business must be easy to handle than your so called head architect...She is nuts, am surprised how have you given her such big post with her low IQ and mannerisms are the worst in her...(She countered and he felt as if she was insulting his recruitment committee who work hard to get the best ppl for his co...So, he defended himself here)

Maan:-Well she is good in handling accounts...

Geet(glared him):- Don't praise her...She took whole day for getting just a few files...

Maan(ST: Maan, this is perfect chance to get her outta their lives):- So, what do you want now??? I already have made a decision, am removing her from KC...

Geet:- What??? No... Don't do that...

Maan(sighed at her stubborness):- I know your reasoning that's why she still is there...But Geet one wrong move and she is going to get outta KC...

Geet:- Knowing her, I think you will soon be getting rid of her...

Maan:- But, anything for you...(Geet smiled and leaned on bed...came in his arms as he offered and hugged him)

Geet:- You know I don't really hate her just hate her attitude.. She has always been so bossy...and now, she thinks I have snatched you from her...and that has added more to her anger...

Maan:- Alright Mrs MD...Let's stop this discussion right here...We are giving importance to someone who doesn't deserve, hmm???

Geet(smiled and nodded):- Hmm...

Maan:- It must be tiring day for you...(He commented looking at her tired form)

Geet:- Yes it was...(She agreed as she closed her eyes)

Maan:- Sleep then...

Geet:- GN...

Maan(pecked her head):- GN...(with that he too closed his eyes to sleep)

Her responsibilities have increased, now she not only had to finish her internship but also had to take care of the house, and Maya too... Shilpa Di and Yash Jiju were going back to Yash's place and she wanted to make their few days of stay memorable... John uncle already has gone back ...and then Payal Di...She wanted to talk to her...know abt her well being...

Geet entered her bedroom with coffee for Maan, and found Maya engrossed in talks with someone, Maan sitting beside her guiding her...Looking at Geet, he gestured her to come close and that was when Geet smiled looking at her Di online...Maya and Maan had been chatting with Payal and Vishal...

There was a different smile on Payal's face...Not a remorseful...Not a happy one but it was of no hope...Geet's heart sank as a thought came to her mind and her gaze went to Maan...who, to her confirmation of doubts, looked away from her...and Geet gasped...Payal too sensed Geet's condition and after bidding bye to Maya, Payal sent her outta there... leaving maaneet alone...

Geet:- Di...Are you alright???

Payal:- Geet...Am happy to see you happy...moved on in your life...with your love...Your patience really paid in a greater way, but sadly am not that lucky one...

Geet(looked at Maan as she gripped his hand in hers):- Maan???What's happening???

Vishal:- You will have to be brave Geet...(He said as he saw Maan was unable to break the news to her)

Geet:- What....(Before Geet could talk more, Maan engulfed her in his arms...and Geet dreaded at her thoughts)No...I don't want to hear...(Maan sighed, and looked at the screen)

Maan:- Guys, we will talk to you later...

With that he disconnected the line and Geet cried...without anyone telling her the situation Geet understood...There was no hope, for her Di's survival chances were limited...When she sobered down a bit, Maan started...

Maan:- A couple of days ago, Dr called and told me the clear situation...(He looked into her eyes as he took her hands in his)Geet, there's no improvement in Payal's condition...The treatment has failed...Her body couldn't respond to the therapy, the way it should have...(He paused as he said looking down)Am sorry...

Geet:- She... doesn't have any chance???

Maan looked at her as she seemed miserable ...broken with the news...He didn't want to say yes...to her Q but couldn't lie to her either so he just sighed and took her in his arms...she cried and Maan tried to console her...

After 6 Months,

Geet glared at Sasha who just entered the KC premises with her hubby Maan...Maan seemed busy in some official talks with her and Adi while Sasha only was looking at him...and Geet hated that look..

Maan saw Geet in front of him and smilingly went to her, leaving Adi and an irritating Sasha behind...Maan stared at her as she didn't even give a slightest of the smiles and shaking his head he took Geet inside his cabin...

Maan got settled in his chair while Geet sat opposite to him...He observed as she didn't even talk to him...For a couple of mints he kept silence but then he sighed, not being able to bear her different behavior...

Maan:- Geet, has anything happened???

Geet(looked up at him and demanded):- Maan, make me the head architect...

Maan(was taken aback with her sudden demand):- What???

Geet(repeated):- I said, I want to be the head architect in your co...

Maan:- Geet, I heard that...

Geet:- Then why did you ask again???

Maan:- That was my reaction and not a Q....(He paused and then added)Okhh, and why do you want to be that???

Geet:- I can't see, Sasha going with you in all your meetings...I should be the one going with you everywhere...(Geet confessed of what she felt)

Maan(was amused):- Feeling Jealous???

Geet(glared him, sensing the humor in his voice):- No...

Maan(cleared his throat):- See, I told you to get her outta our lives but you insisted that you wanted to deal with her all by yourself and see, now she is irritating you ...haan???

Geet:- Yes, am feeling irritated whenever I see her with you...She has feelings for you and ...

Maan(interrupted her):- Don't you trust me???(He already knew the answer but still quizzed)

Geet:- I do...But...I don't...her...She might poison your mind and...(He smiled as Geet paused and looked at him)She likes you...have feelings for you, don't you know???

Maan(laughed a little):- There might be 5% of women in the world Geet, who would like me...So what??? Do you think, I would ever be influenced by any of them??? It shouldn't matter you who might like me...interested in me...What should matter you is...whom I like...I love...

Geet(was awed hearing him, totally mesmerized at his charming words):- Whom do you love??? (And that was the moment,where she wanted to hear him say those words)

Maan(pretended to be busy thinking abt someone):- There's a girl...who is madly in love with me but is very much J of some random office worker...

Geet:- You calling me mad???(She faked an angry expression and Maan brought her closer only to kiss her and shut her complaints)
