Based on media reports other than Zee, remaining top hindi GECs like SP, Colors & Sony will be on a launch spree of both week day & week end shows in next two weeks by the time IPL finishes. but line up is something that looks promising and all shows are dealing with varying concepts. đ For some viewers like me who aren't finding variety with stagnated hindi shows last few months on prime time slots, there may be different options to attempt for.
Colors messed up with content and slots of their late evening soaps last 2 mths, too many shufflings, not telecasting on few days, frequent integrations in the name of mahasangams.. now every time slot & daily soap attracts certain set of household viewers which they ignored.. bepannaah started in Mar at 8.55 then kept on changing till 9.25pm, now they fixed it at 9,30pm and no its not due to KKB.
9pm is a peak prime time slot whether its week day or week end for hindi TV. Not sure how Zee is planning to address tough competition that's coming up at 9pm. Its reality show DID on weekends hasn't grabbed eyeballs unlike its 2017 flagship show SaregamaPa.till now. And KKB has gone thru major change due to sudden leap and many viewers both offline and online still seem to be mad and trying really hard to connect well with main leads dynamics and current plot unlike earlier times. đł
Hope some of these new shows stick to their concept without tiresome deviations and get executed well.

Sony Entertainment Television will be revamping its weekday line-up with the addition of Dus Ka Dum' and Zindagi Ke Crossroads'.
The channel has already axed a number of underperforming shows to make way for the new line-up. Starting from Monday 4th June, Dus Ka Dum' hosted by superstar, Salman Khan, will take the Monday and Tuesday nightly slot of 21:00. Zindagi Ke Crossroads' fronted by Ram Kapoor, will then air between Wednesday and Friday at 21:00.
The channel is experimenting with non-fiction shows during weekday prime time, a trial, which worked well during the telecast of Kaun Banega Crorepati' last year.
Sony TV will also be launching singing talent hunt show Indian Idol 10' in June with Manish Paul as host, which will air on weekend evenings.
Star Plus will be launching new fiction Krishna Chali London' in May, 9 pm slot.
'Krishna Chali London' will air from Monday 21st May at 21:00. Naamkarann' will bow out on Friday 18th May 2018...this is said to be loosely based on the work of Hindi writer, Harishankar Parsai. This will be light hearted show on lines of Rajkumar Hirani style of movies. Producer Saurabh says everything on TV is about a girl and a girl's marriage is a big societal issue. The normal consensus is that if a boy is rich, even if illiterate, he will get married and the girl coming in will have to adjust to his whims and fancies. However, in our show, the boy is facing a major problem in getting married. His whole agenda in life is to get married, and he feels that his life is settled once he is married.
Most of the characters in the show are from the real world. I have used all my experience of growing up in Lucknow for 20 years in this show. There are a lot of nuances, humour quotient, dialect from the place. The show is neither an out and out comedy nor an out and out drama. Even in the saddest of situations, there is a dark humour and satire attached in the story plot, he adds. In all my shows (Madhubala, Rang Rasiya, Badtameez Dil, Do Dil Ek Jaan, Ghulaam, Zindagi Ki Mehek) my heroes have always been the heavy brooding men. I wanted to come out of this. Here, in this show hero Radhey is not at all the brooding guy.
Starplus is also launching week end interactive game show 'Sabse Smart Kaun' with Ravi Dubey as host.
