Disclaimer- The post doesn't attack anyone personally but I have few point to criticize. No hate to anyone though.
So, this show was supposed to be romantic thriller, where thrill comes from the PooSh dying & unraveling that & romance from AdiYa.
Until Zoya committing suicide, atleast story was about that but ever since she committed suicide & came back to office, it appears that writers of this show have gone into 360 turn mode. No consistency at all. It appears like a show of 2 immature kids coming together, have a sizzling chemistry, look good with no story whatsoever.
- Mahi who was a vamp has become the love-stricken puppy.
- Zoya from being extremely naive to being the superwoman who can handle Noor, Mahi & every f**cking person in the world all of a sudden.
- Well, Adi from being fun has become a top class flirt. Why exactly is he leading on Mahi still goes over my head? (I still think that it's wrong to give false hopes to someone & lead them on even if you don't want it. One must keep their actions and their implications in check).
I thought they would have a concrete story for the viewers that will keep us on edge & to top that we will be having passionate & intense romance of the leads. But it's no where. Everything falls apart. Apparently, no character growth to Adi, Zoya is still believable & well Mahi has her own pace of growth.
I didn't sign up for this. The promos of this show weren't about the AdiYa childish romance, they were about an intense story where the spouses of lead die & they come up to deal with it.
Getting married for a romance is so cliched. It can only happen in TV show. I agree with Zoya today. Why did they even had to introduce this track only to extend episodes. There is no hurry to get these 2 married. We can wait until they actually reach the stage where they want to get married. Before that I wanted to see these 2 growing emotionally, mentally & socially. I wanted their pain to be a catalyst in bringing them together & get over their past.
All the other characters are rarely seen. Mr. Siddiqui, Sakshi, Mr. Hooda, everyone who was under scrutiny for that accident are hardly ever seen. Atleast ArNoor are better in this regard. They sound real to me.
Nothing makes sense with AdiYa. And I still watch this show because of the leads, continued story & for some funny dialogues of Adi. That's it. But I'm utterly disappointed by the way story is progressing. It's not consistent, concrete, gripping & the way I expected it to be.
Arjun was a lawyer and he is an RJ now. Adi suddenly became a business man with so much business sense of event management. Atleast Zoya acts like she doesn't know and is still learning. Adi's mom has no task except to taunt Sakshi now & then. Same thing shown again and again in a loop.
2 months gone & their is hardly any progress except the office childish fights that are shown in every second show on TV. Pooja diary missing, investigation is hardly taking place. I don't know why romance & professionalism can't be kept separate in any Indian TV show.
P.S- I am very choosy at watching Indian TV shows & I signed up for this because I thought it would be different. Just like why I signed up for Haasil on Sony Tv (that was a terrible show). I hope the things are made right before it's too late for me. These are my views & except forum I have no other place to lent this out. So, no bashes please (manorma mami style). Feel free to comment.
