which left everyone especially parents
raging. An 8-year-old was kidnapped,
sedated, brutally raped for days and then
finally murdered in Kathua, Jammu and
Kashmir. The police arrested eight people in
the case.
While Amitabh Bachchan's comment on the
case received a lot of flak, Alia Bhatt among
others spoke stringently on the issue.
Salman, who was today present at the Race
3 trailer launch, was asked to comment on
the child atrocities which are coming to light
of late, the major being Kathua rape case.
Without naming the case, Salman called for
an action to be taken against this. He said,
"We need to take a stand on this right now.
This needs to stop right now, ASAP. Abhi
khatam karo. Jaise bhi."
Furthermore, Salman was also asked if he
was worried about the money riding on him
during the recent court case. To this, he
said, "Did you think I was going to go in
forever? Thank you. Because I was not
worried."
Salman also quipped about him not being a
"sensible actor." He said, "I am not a sensible
actor. I am neither sensible nor an actor."
Meanwhile, about Race 3, Salman
maintained that everyone in the film has
been treated equally. The movie also stars
Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby
Deol, Saqib Saleem among others. Race 3 is
slated to release on June 15, 2018. Race 3 is
being helmed by Remo D'Souza and the
trailer promises a lot of action in the movie.
