Yes. It is in unconvincing n hard to digest.

Be it the cruelty whoch is shown by Alexander n army.

Or the generosity shown by puru. Yes We know he was brave as well as kind hearted. But I feel sometimes these scenes are out of place in such conditions..

Yeah I also feel sad when alex stamp feet on knife and killed army man😭

They are showing alex as cruel don't know whether he was that much cruel or not

And puru' s bharat bhashan is just boring

Alexander is world wide known as cruel , but they r insulting king poras so much. As in a crowned prince & king is so free that he had nothing 2 do in his country where already plotting going against him.

I won't mind if queen stateira refuse take his help & show him door of faras.

I had read many stories about alexender's cruelty so it dont surprise me but i prefer alexander more than puru who always keeps his emotion in control unlike puru.

A king is not allowed to be emotional 4 anyone or display his emotions, but puru hardly had any hold on his emotions

What is d point 2 make alexander aware if his presence

Yes but what i mean is we all know how much cruel Alexander was.. No need to show such violence again n again.. N again agree they have messed up puru story big time..

Alexander thinks that the Persian soldier was trying to kill the three ladies. That is absolutely natural, how would he know the truth? The women don't clarify the situation.

So he completes the job of executing what he takes to be an assassin. There is nothing cruel about it.

As for the killing of the civilians, they bring that on themselves by stoning the Macedonians. It was unbelievably stupid of them, given Alexander's reputation for great harshness. And it was noteworthy that it is Cleitus, who hates the Persians, who orders the massacre and kills the man whose hands are shaking in fear. Not Hephaestion.

As for Alexander, I doubt if he had any knowledge of what was going on, exactly as when, at Granicus, he doesn't know that Cleitus is about to execute all the Persian POWs. He would never have allowed it had he known about it, given his plan to win over the Persians and then blend the Macedonian and Persian cultures.

You might be interested to know that when the Duke of Wellington , the victor at Waterloo against Napoleon in 1815 and widely rated as a great commander, was earliee fighting against the French in Spain, he used to set his troops loose to pillage the conquered towns as he did not have the money to pay them.What happened to the population was predictable.

first of all, Alexander is known worldwide as the warrior... He defeated people. In war, people die. but overall Alexander is considered a hero...call it bias historians but he is considered as hero who brought civilisation, nobody can deny it...

King Porus is known because of Alexander... its Indians who have disrespected him because even in India Alexander or say sikander is more popular than Porus...hell he is more popular than any other king😆

I agree completely with what you have said here, for though one cannot say that he is more popular than any other king - which you yourself didn't mean seriously - his image in India, even after 2300 years, is very good..

4 indian alexender will never be hero like akbar never comes under hero's of india why coz akbar belongs 2 d family who invaded india, so as alexander.

Yes alexander is known as a great warrior but he is also known as 2 be very cruel Emperor who dint believed in forgiving, thats why question rise when alexander never forgave d small mistakes of his people then why did alexender let go king poras even returned his kingdom.

how many people india has name sikandar...how many times you hear muqadar ka sikandar or jo jeeta wahi...😆...You should read about his relationship with sasigamis, ada and roxana will tell you better
