Star Plus will not be shifting its No.1 show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' from its existing 19:30 slot in the UK, for new series Mariam Khan Reporting Live'.

In India, Star Plus will be launching Mariam Khan Reporting Live' in the 19:30 slot from 21st May. This will result in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' moving to a new slot. However, BizAsiaLive.comunderstands from its sources that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will remain intact in its 19:30 slot. The show is ultimately the channel driver and has repeatedly topped UK ratings over the past few years.

Mariam Khan Reporting Live' produced by Somsersault Productions, has a Muslim backdrop. It stars Deshna Dugad in the titular role. A time slot for Star Plus' UK beam is yet to be announced.

Why haven't DivAn spoken about the change in time slot? In fact no one from YHM cast have made a mention of it till now. These days even Sharukh and Zahida aren't posting pictures from YHM sets. What is even happening?

But that doesn't affect the viewers who live in India so doesn't matter much in the larger scheme of things.
This is a wise decision and I'm glad the show timing isn't changing here. Who'd want to lose out on such humongous viewership!

Considering india ignores international viewers completely by excluding us from trp's, it doesn't matter what time they keep it outside of india. It would have no effect on trp's. I then fail to understand what importance us international viewers hold for the indian tv industry when irregardless of how much viewed a show is in the uk or other countries outside india, the views we give are not included in trp's and neither are we considered before a channel axes a show. All indian gec's care about when it comes to deciding which shows are doing well in ratings and stay on air are the ratings they get from india. 🤢

Very. Bad decision by sp India to change timing in the first place and uk showing it first will mean many will get to find out around the world what happened on the epi and choose not to watch.

Maybe not! If I think about it, india is 4-5 hours ahead of uk time I believe, so when it airs in the uk at 7:30pm, and 10:30pm in india, indian viewers would have perhaps already finished viewing the episode before uk viewers have started to watch it. At least I think.

The truth is that we don't matter and we have to accept that. It's unfair but true.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is shifting to 10.30 pm which is 6 pm UK time so no, you are wrong in your assessment. The Indian viewers would have already watched the show and nothing will get spoiled.
