Ekta Kapoor's kitty is surely brimming with a
barrage of shows and while some of them
are in nascent stage, some are already
rolling. Be it the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham
remake Dil Hi Toh Hai, or the Vivek Dahiya-
Karishma Tanna starrer; and be it the reboot
of Kausauti Zindagii Kay or Yeh Hai
Mohabbatein's spin-off, we may be loaded
with an almost all-Ekta shows line-up on our
TV screens soon.
But, the czarina is in no mood to stop, as
according to reports, Ekta is now planning
to bring one of her most iconic shows,
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki back on TV. Yes! That's
right.
The show is considered to be an illustrious
feather in Ekta's cap, where Kahani and
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi changed the
way we see TV viewing altogether. The
show ended in 2008 after 8 years and the
protagonist Sakshi Tanwar is still
remembered for that character of hers.
Now, the idea of a second season has been
proposed and apparently Sakshi has also
given her nod to the project. Reports claim
that the second season will begin right
where the show initially ended.
It is also being said that with Kausauti's
reboot, YHM spin-off and Vivek-Karishma's
supernatural thriller sealed for Star Plus, the
timeslot on the same channel seems unlikely
to get. And hence, Kahaani is being planned
to be commissioned to Star Bharat, which
has also been doing wonders on the charts.
However, according to our sources, the
timeslots on Star Bharat are also sealed for
now, so the idea of Kahaani coming on that
channel seems a faraway thought.
Nevertheless, the show is still in its stage of
inception and will take a while to roll.

After Bollywood remaking old songs and old films now its Ekta remaking her old serials which should have never been made in the first place. Is Indian entertainment space completely devoid of creativity?

Nahinnn!! Those shows had a life span of arnd 7+ years. God noes how long the new ones will run? And wats the point of remaking them anyway?

Mainstream bollywood has been devoid of creativity for ages... however, there are still lots of other small films: Rockstar Village, Mercury, Gali Gueliyan, and Take off.
