The streets have been lit, the invitations have been set, the house has been decorated as the most-awaited wedding of the season is right around the corner. Sonam Kapoor will marry her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8 and the event will be attended by the biggest stars on the Indian film industry. But before that, what has our excitement high is the sangeet ceremony, scheduled to take place on May 7.
The vibrant night will be graced by performances by her cousins Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and her close friends Jaqueline Fernandez and Masaba Gupta. As we all are made aware of, the practices have already started in full swing and we can't wait to see these starlets shake a leg.

As we all know, the celebs have already started practicing for their performances.
Ahead of the big fat Punjabi wedding, a mehendi ceremony will be held at Sunteck, Signature Island BKC. The nuptial ceremony will take place between 11 am and 12:30 pm on May 8 at Rockdale, Sonam's aunt Kavita Singh's bungalow in Bandra.
Sonam Kapoor, meanwhile, is managing a busy schedule. Apart from the wedding, her film Veere Di Wedding, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, is scheduled to release on June 1. Soon after the wedding, she will head to France to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 and May 15.
