Why Celebrities behaving like TEENS on Instagram?

If you follow most of the celebs, you will come across their Daily STORIES on Instagram & they literally behave like they are some 14-15 age teens especially the new gen ones... They follow every step of new trends, make poses, add funky text, try everything... like at 1 point you realize they are trying too hard to impress the young gen...

Do u think they overdo or is it ok to do such things on insta for them also?

They're just trying to fit in. Their most important audience is the younger generation, so it's important to be in sync with what the audience is up to.

Or to seem 'cool' ..'IN with the crowd'?

Mostly it's because they have a lot of fans that are also speaking that way, so it's a way to 'identify' with fanbases.

It's giving impression as if they are imitating new gen in bad way. Once in a while is understood, but with every story, they go overboard.

Also, what good can come from gaining some teen followers on Insta, they aren't going to watch their film just coz they try to be like them.

That fanbase adore them coz of what they are, which they don't act while on instagram, which they should as it's 1 thing where they don't need a script to act, just be themselves.

I am not objecting on using Social Media, they can use it & also they should use it, it's the demand of time, i am talking about their behaviour while using 1 of it's feature i.e. STORIES on insta.

To answer this and the other question you posed: psychologically, you do best if you identify with targeted audience.

If you get teenager audiences to like and identify with you, you get them as fans for life.

Edited to add: teenagers are known to take money and stuff from parents to go see their fave star. Also, teenagers grow, get jobs..if they are fans ..they will spend their money on their 'teenage crush' more than on others?

So this is why a lot of stars will try get the younger generations on their fandoms.

Also..their PR: many stories and posts are managed by PR/managers.. to draw maximum attention to the star.

Whether positive or negative, any publicity is good.

So, if a few fans might get irked.. there will be MANY MORE that will like it , tell their friends..those friends will start following the star as they are 'one of us' .

Just marketing strategy.
