sorry first but just wanted to say i dont like when someone start justifying the fact that two women are equal to one men

it is not so

if you look at history biology and science and day to day life it is not so

but the truth is women are not given opportunity they are upbringed in different way tthose who from start are given upbringing where they are toght by their parent that they are equal and given equal opportunity then they definetly overpower the men in brain

because i am a hindu and is even from such family where girls are considered in typical way not given equal opportunity but i was lucky enough that my parent were not like that for them i was just their elder child and by brother younger one and they treated both of us equally and today we both are studying in same research institute and we both know to cook and even i am more stronger than him not physically but emotionally

he is just like a younger sibling for me

anyway i hate it when i see my sister justifying their parent acts when i was young but now i can understand why their thinking is like that

ya men are hysically strong but when you look around you you will understand that women are gifted with other thing men cant have a child

so considering two women equal to men or anyone lesser i dont think is right as we cant compare grappes and oranges or vitanim and mineral as all are neded and equal we cant ignore anything due to lesser need

thats how is women and i ont know which scientific research someone is speaking but it is a fact that women are equal not more or not less because time and again they proove this

anyway this is nothing agais islam as these type of inequalities are prevelant in hindu but there is a ifference everyone try to justify that allah has said so its right but in hindu they never says god has said so

as i have mentioned that with time something need to change wether it be our constitution inwhich there is till reservation on caste and kashmir i still not a pasrt of indian or for muslim or any other reigion there should be no freedom to just make their own sharia court or any other religious court because any religion living in india should be indian first not any religion

and the same way not like the fact which muslim say that quran cant be changed allah word is ultimate

anyway i know opinions cant be changed as our upbringing give us opinion soits haard to change if i cant change my own family opinion then how can i chang others or other religion just jotting my view

coming to the serial in all indian hindu teleshows they can show anything noone will protest but if here zara will be made qazi protesting will start muslim men are so afraid of women that they dont give even opportunity that they will proove them wrong

I dont think protests will start coz muslims did not protest during Jodha Akbar Padmavaati etc. But they need to justify properly why Zara will be qazi. If Islam doesnt allow female qazi, then Zara will also know this if there's loopholes then i hope Zara argues about this

Well even I don't believe that two women are equal to one man and I don't think people need to justify it. Opinions differ from person to person and that's alright.

I come from a family where there literally is no discrimination between male and female so I really don't understand how can people give higher status to their son and not to their daughter. And it is not about religion but about the way a person thinks and a person's opinions.

Of course male and female are different and of course there is no such thing as them being equal in every aspect. But that doesn't mean female are inferior and male are superior or vice versa. Female may be physically weak in comparison to male but honestly saying, I don't think any man can survive seven days of blood discharge or the Labour pain a female takes during pregnancy. So we can not say female are weak or soft or sensitive.

Coming to two female being equal to one male, I want to give an example of some people I know. The family always wanted a son child. The couple already had three daughters however not being satisfied, the mother kept giving birth until she had a son. Now she has two sons, but both don't work. They just are passing their time around and some money they earn is spent on their own luxuries. All the household expenses from necessity items to luxury is paid by the earned money of their eldest daughter. She ran the house, paid the fees of her siblings and now is paying for all her mother's and brothers' expenses. In this case one daughter is equal to two sons.

So I don't think in any way are two females equal to one male.

Again the opinion differs from person to person.

Your post is perfect example of how one should never say anything until he has knowledge of topic.

Same way ,is a cannot show female qazi as its not in religion.

I ,as a Muslim have believe that whatever written in Quran is truth and applied on everything and we have proper justification to it.

You cannot question religion until you have complete knowledge of it.even I have 99% issues with Hinduism, Christianity and other religions but, this is not place to discuss and question ones belief .

Moreover you compared two different aspect.treating boys and girls equally in house or what's their position in inheritance, gawahi is different.

Muslims treat and respect women to highest levels .that's why population of women ,as described by nature , is high in Muslim countries as compared to a nation who just poses to worship women.( I know this feels bad and bitter but that's what I felt when you questioned Quran )

Questioning is not a problem but, way of questions matter.

And if you research, why those two laws are mentioned, you will find answers..why two women equal to one man in gawahi and inherentence.

BTW, inherentence law benefits women...men get double share as he runs a family, have to do kifalat of entire family...in other way he is instructed to spend that double share on women of his family.and women gets his own share which belongs to her only...( is this partiality ??)

Gawahi...as you read...women by nature tends to forget things.that's why we work hard on studies etc to remember as compared to boys who are naturally blessed...that's scientific readearch...not said by Quran.

Its said so if one women forgets, other can make her remember ...that's it...its not said there gawahi is not accepted.

Hope I am lenient with my words...

I have faith they will go by laws otherwise its better to shut rather than giving false information about religion.

It is difficult to any body to understand the other one completely. As a muslim I believe in Islam and take Allah's orders without questioning them. coz Allah created us, and he knows better. If scines proved what is said in Quraan so it is good. If not so I don't really care , coz Allah knows better than anyone. there maybe another reasons unknown to us.

As you said Adni women might be stronger , coz they give birth to children, raise them , and sometimes run their families too. it is not just about who is strong..it is about emotions, and remembering ..both sexes are different.

i really am just asking and keeping my opinion and just written it no time to check grammer or whatever i have written

i just came to forum read several post and written whatever came in my mind after reading

i read several post and really i dont feel bad if anyone bash our god or religion because in hindu we have no rule everyone aastik or nastik all are god

and i am the middle one thats why there are some clashes between my and my parent as they belive in god with all rules regulation and i just consider god as my best friend and talk to im or pray him whenever i want even when i am in period i dont mind to go to temple

but when i visit my village or my other relations who live in different village get shocked by the opinion and they just try to justify it which i dont like

someone here is posting how muslim has given some special right to women like whatever they are given in share is just their own and many thing

but i have question about this why there is need to make separate laws why cant the law be equal why it is okay to get privilage on name of religon or caste or gender i as a girl dont want special right just want equal right

i know you love your reliion just like i also love it but i have no problem with other opinion

BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I HAVE MET THREE MUSLIM FRIEND IN MY LIFE 2 IN SCHOOL TIME WHEN IN 7TH CLASS AND BOTH USED TO GET AFRAID THAT IF THEY WILL GROW UP THEY HAVE TO WEAR BURKHA AND SAID ITS SUFFOCATING AND THE RECENT ONE IN COLLEGE SHE IN FIRST YEAR NOT SHARED OR TOLD ANYTHING AGAINST HER RELIGION BUT GRADUALLY SHE WHEN SEEN US TALKING AND DOING DEBATE SHE JOINED WITH US AND PUT HER VIEW HOW SHE DONT LIKE BHURKHA BUT IS FORCED TO WEAR IF HER FATHER WOULD KNOW THAT SHE IS NOT WEARING IT HE WOULD JUST EXPEL HER OUT WE WERE IN RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND WERE SCIENCE STUDENTS SO AFTER THAT WE USED TO HAVE SEVERAL DISCUSSION WITH HER AND EVEN GRADUALLY SHE EVEN STARTED TO LEAVE BHURKHA BUT WHEN HER FATHER CAME SHE USED TO DON IT

I DONT HAVE problem with religion but with muslim religion i just dont like these two thing as after having experience with three muslim friends

1)she have to always don a blackcloth which they even dont like as my all three friend didnt liked the idea but they used to wear out of compulsion

2)there are some position where girl cant just claim her position because she is a girl even if it is not some physical job

it doesnt mean i am saying muslim is bad or anything i feel hindu is even worse religion but atleast there is power to us to question and has indian law who atleast give justice and even support to girl although there are some hyposrites but i just think that there is need of equality not any privillage

ya boys are physically strong so they can handle some such department and we girls have given ability to give birth we are fulfilling ours and rest i feel it depend on girl boys

just i dont like if something went wrong with girls they are asked questing regarding the rules not the boys

no religion is better or best it is just a name for me it is us and our family thoughts and coorporation that make it us good better or best

and its just simply my opinion that everywhere who think girl cant do this because they are girl except some physical activity need to be changed but i know its not easy when from childhood they are taught what they are

its just unimaginable for me o understand that why people justify some type of inequality just like your thought you believe is right because i am from science background so have never came across such people in real life in friend circle or anyone just i go to village and meet some who are stranger for me as in my whole 26 years of life i met with them only 5 or 6 times

it doesnt mean i am saying that all people who are from SCIENCE BACKGROUND ARE LIKE THIS OR OTHERS ARE LIKE THAT ITS JUST I HAVE NOT CAME ACROSS THEM TILL NOW IN REAL LIFE AND THATS WHY FEEL THAT ILLITRACY IS THE REASON NOT RELIGION

But, as you said why different rule?

Look you cannot apply same parameter to grow Apple and to grow mango? Both are different.

Same way, you cannot put same parameter for a men and women as both are different.

thaks for making me understand something and i liked your point you pointed out

and my opinion is simply that we should try to adress right and wrong if we want to give a nice future to our future geneeration

ike my parent i feel are best but always debate with them and point out when they done something wrong or doing something wong only out of respect i will not make them realise then i feel i cant become a nice parent in future to my child

so we should adress mistakes ireespective of we are not ble to change or even really make them realise but the realisation will be with me if not my parent and that will help me and my children to have better future and morals

Hey, glad to know your thoughts and I'm equally amazed as my thoughts on so many things are too similar to yours. I believe in scientism (believing science is above religion) and also a true feminist (who fights for equal rights of everyone, none is above the other)...

I have friends from all religions and what I've observed is people from other religions aren't open to something out of their culture or religion or their holy books, except hindus who on a major part atleast lend their ears to new thoughts. I'm not offending anyone here instead just stating a fact.

but I think this isn't a right place for such discussions. Quora has been a place for me for such discussions, its a place with high intellectuals who mostly condemn the common practices that are bad for the society. Its good that you put out your pov here but if you want answers quora is the place.

^^^ I am very open to discussions..when I entered in this forum, one topic was in front which quoted different Quranic verses and was analyzing in a negative manner...

We discuss in that post...

I am open and I think everyone is open until you point too direct to anything...

One comment is perfect...we don't care if there is explanation to a law or not...its in Quran...that's it...but Islam has provided us with all reasoning...

Feminism true definition is you can't compare orange with apples...same way , women should have equal right in their domain and so for men...why we want what right men has when we are not like them???..

There was no need of women if she has to do what men can do...she is different..

Hindus open to criticism!!! Yes in this forum...but, one you visit some religious show forum...I quit from one forum long back.
