No one should be harassed, threatened and abused for making a movie.
Freedom of speech and Freedom of expression are constitutional rights everywhere.
One of the worrying things for anyone making movies in India is this- if all live in fear of repercussion..how much of the artistic view is changed in order to pander to crazy mobs??
I already believe Padmaavat was changed and edited before even censor board due to the death threats on SLB and Deepika, burning of sets..so many extra costs-sounded like someone really wanted to stop that movie...so that was another vision being ruined.
No one should stop the filmmakers with violence, threats and destroying property. They can boycott the film by urging people not to watch it...by peaceful protest, discussions on media.
No need for violence.
