You may not always be able to say goodbye, you may not always be able to get answers to your questions. . Life may not even give you a chance to say any of those last words!Life is not predictable. . And so isn't death!
Today's episode was totally heart-wrenching! For its realism, for its potrayal of the brutal truth.
I have seen umpteen number of movies and shows, so have you. . The potrayal of the departure of someone we love is most often a fixed script. Always with a closure, some sad last lines to quote, tears and lot of pain. The person who has gone being in his peak, loved by all or hated by all.
I always had this image of death in my mind, until I saw a real one. And it was no where close to anything I heard or saw earlier. It made acceptance of reality even more painful, that there are no goodbyes and answers in real life. Sometime things close just like that! Like you are reading a book and someone tore and burnt the pages mid way. And it remains like that. It end there!
Today the writers potrayed an uncanny resemblance to reality.
Prabhakar struggling with his emotions and betrayal, still managing to find solace in things he loved. .trying to mend things subtly, trying to spend more time with his family!
There could be no better piece to give words to the emotions involved in the scene. . Other than the bhajan played in the backgroung. .'duniya bisari jayee. .'
It is not always easy for virtuous people to keep moving forward without being an eyesore for some others, Even if you mind your own business . .there will be several people who would not want you to succeed.
Prabhakar was an honest and good-hearted man, maybe he had a dark past. .(highly doubtful about the authenticity of it) but he came out of it.
It was extremely sad to see that the moment he left this world, there were questions in the mind of his own child. . And what's worst is that those questions will remain unanswered.. Siddhant may find out the truth later but he will never be able to get those answers from Prabhakar himself.
When Prabhakar held out his hand in his last moment. ..his last breath did not let him hold Siddhant's hand. . š
Prabhakar's wish of going to Patna to revive his memories, to sleep peacefully under the mango tree. .remains unfulfilled.
His words "Ek baar baar patna chale jae..itna soenge jitna kabhi nahi soye" are ringing in my ears.
The way the writers captured the suddenness of death, how it may not always give you a chance for closures and goodbyes has hit my heart. Brought back hundreds of memories and tears.
Kudos to the writers for including these nuances .
Mr. Prabhakar you will be missed.
