Lovely ladies, I just finished watching Mishal's first episode of KKB online. As I waited for the episode to load and the advertisement to end, I could feel my heart racing as I caught a glimpse of Mishal's face. I was so excited to see my favourite actor onscreen I could barely breathe. Exhilarated to see Mishal in good health the way he was on IKRS! His health has been a major concern since his wrist injury and I'm so very happy to see him taking care of himself. Coming to the episode itself, hmmm. 🤔 For the first time ever, I'm not bowled over by Mishal's acting. I know I need to give this character and the story some time to develop before I reach an actual conclusion, but somehow I couldn't connect to King. I find this concerning being a huge fan of Mishal's who is wishing him nothing but success with this character and this show. If I feel this way, then how will non-Mishalians feel watching him act within this new plot? 🤓 Mishal, you certainly have taken a risk with this character and this show. I can only hope that your efforts pay off in the end and you emerge a winner. Are King and Pragya really married or is this some sort of legal arrangement between the two? If King is supposed to be in love with Pragya, then why is his loyalty towards her a huge question mark? 😕 What did everyone think of Mishal's chemistry with Sriti? It wasn't blazingly apparent in my opinion, but that could be because of King's unique character. He is quite full of himself. 😛 I'm not sure guys, I guess I'm just trying to rationalize my thoughts.

Let's all rate the episode out of 10 with our comments! 😊 I think I'll give the episode a 6.5/10 for the reasons I've outlined above. I'm grateful that Mishal was given as much screen space as Sriti and Shabbir despite having entered this series as a parallel lead. I just hope the story picks up for the better tomorrow. 😳

Dazz on this I have to write .

From the promo itself I got a feel he is going in for underplay. The way he quietly said king singh.Not loud ,boisterous.

Yesterday's episode when I watched it again I could see he is trying to be subtle yet stylish. Its difficult . But he will pull it off. What struck me most (as usual) was his voice modulation. Husky with a lilt . There was No viplav there. All gone. When both the characters have similar shades of being vibrant in their dialogues. But mishal managed to make them sound different .

He gave a look of being on edge of confidence and arrogance to king and he was on the right side.That will increase his appeal

BTW kumkum fans have loved his acting already. They are all going gaga ...

It must be our high expectations from him dazz ...

But watch again and for sure you will observe the nuances that he is successful in bringing in even in those few initial minutes.

Not to forget the swag ...

Oh Dazz, I am sorry you were not impressed like you expected .

It happens,...as a fan, you have all these expectations from an actor of Mishal's calibre,

It's hard to accept anything less when the bar he has set is quite high.

But just hold on & trust him to do his best

Like you said, he has taken huge risk with both the character and the show that has

Its niche audience & quite a big fandom .

Let me share this...

Since we got to know that Mishal will be a part of this show,

I had been scouting that forum just to get an idea of the story & fans reactions.

It had been mostly negative towards this new track.

But now after the leap, they are in total shock & terribly angry with A's character

Believe me, it was a DejaVu taking me back to IKRS post leap😕

So now, quite a few are in favor of KS & P as a couple & are impressed with Mishal already.

That's a positive sign, I think for him & his role.😛

But if this is all done by makers just to create hype ( people are still watching &

reacting angrily on Social media ) then not sure how KS's character will

continue...positive / negative ??

Oh, just to give you a brief idea, I believe KS is P's savior. ( She tried to commit

suicide preleap ) . As of now, they are neither a couple nor in love & the kid is still a mystery !!!

Quite honestly, I do not want to invest emotionally in this story, Dazz

I just want to enjoy Mishal & Mishal only.

If Mishal & Sriti look good as a couple, fine & if not, its still OK.

You Know what I mean, right ?

So having said all this, I enjoyed watching Mishal in this role...the flirtatious rapper KS .😉

Few of his dialogues were 😆

I will give it a 8.5 / 10, solely for his performance

I truly hope & want you to enjoy as the story progresses & we get to

watch more of Mishal 😳

Meenu, so glad you joined our conversation on his very first episode! 🤗 The more the merrier! 😉 You could be right, Meenu. My expectations of his character must be something else. What struck me as extremely odd was how I wasn't able to connect to this character. There has not been a character of Mishal's to date that I have not appreciated. Yes, Dutta Bhau and Akaash haven't been my type of characters but I've always appreciated his versatility. If KKB fans are impressed with Mishal's acting, then nothing else matters because they're the target audience along with Mishal's own fans. I guess he's on the right track with his expressions and nuances. I think I'm going to have to give his character and story some time before it begins to grow on me. We shall see how Mishal fares in impressing me with this character. 😳 Regardless, my best wishes are always going to be with him on all of his projects. 😊

Reading all of your comments, I think it might just be me who feels this way. 🤔 I'm not sure what it is that I'm looking for and not finding. Perhaps, my interpretation of this character was different from Mishal's own interpretation. I'm only watching this show for Mishal and have no expectations whatsoever of the story or even the other actors. I've only had high expectations of Mishal and for me he failed to deliver in the initial episode. He may grow on me later like the rest of you. 😳 Pragya tried to commit suicide before the leap? Poor girl! 😲 I guess Aliya and Tanu succeeded in their mission again as the invincible duo. I just hope for a positive outcome from this show and character for Mishal's sake. It is a difficult character, but I think Mishal's intentions were to network with a biggie like Ekta Kapoor and actors like Shabbir and Sriti with this offer. As I've said before, I feel as if Mishal's outlook towards his career has changed significantly and he's doing his best to undo the damage he's done in the past eight years to the best of his ability.

DAZZ, I simply loved his acting. King is royal flirt!😆😆 Enjoyed his dialogues, loved his voice!

It is altogether a different character and I don't know what else Mishal could do to enhance/improve performance.

I am really trying to understand where he needs to improve from your POV. Is it dialogue delivery/ Is it mannerism/ expressions??

As per today's episode, K and P are not legally married. It is fake marriage to give Kiara dad's name.

Regarding chemistry, it is too early to say things, Pragya is totally dedicated to Abhi. I don't think Pragya will ever be able to love King. It will be always respect for King.

I will give 10/10 and one extra point for our hero's guts. I think it is easy to play safe but then one needs real guts to try something different. He will win you for sure in coming episodes!

I really hope EKta will give equal importance to male leads in this show. Male and female leads need equal screen time..😆😆 It is all about equality now... HaHaHa

He didn't get equal screen space in today's episode unfortunately, Mish. I think it's understood that Mishal's character is one of a cameo that'll be on the show for the next couple of months. Mishal has already stated in his interviews that his character is meant to be a catalyst for the Abhi-Pragya equation in the sense that it'll take the story to the climax. I'm not sure what King's intention will serve once they reach the climax. 😳 I don't know if Ekta will be fair in giving Mishal the same screen space as Sriti and Shabbir. 🤔 At the end of the day, his character isn't as important as the male and female leads of the show.
