I really don't know what his core teaching are. Wiki says he advocated more open attitude towards human sexuality and was against socialism, Mahatma Gandhi's teachings and Hindu Orthodoxy... I can understand his teachings must've been revolutionary in India at that time period, provided respite to some people who felt suffocated under those policies

He looks like a creep to me but must've been a really charismatic man as he was able to cast a spell on thousands and make them fall in love with him, give up everything for him

I don't know much about osho but during some vinod Khanna discussion. I saw that osho didn't ask anyone to renounce anything , he asks everyone to go back and be independent and earn their own money.

Wait so when did they go to the US? was it around 1980? Because I know the ashram was in Pune at first then moved to the US to gain more freedom?
