Hello everyone,
I know all of you are anxiously waiting for today's update to find out the reason why Kaveri stopped the engagement. Well I won't make you wait any longer and quickly just get on with the update.
A recap of yesterday's show is shown.
Kaveri looking very serious and stops Jhanvi/Shekhar engagement. She says that the engagement can take place with one condition. She smiles and says that in front of everyone Shekhar has to read the letter that Jhanvi had written him. Jhanvi is looking shell-shocked. Shekhar gets persuaded by everyone to read the letter. Sunny also tells him to read as he agrees with Kaveri on this. Shekhar apologises to Jhanvi and says that they've ganged up on me so can't be helped. Shanta and Jhanvi both move away from the gathering while Shekhar reads the letter.
In it Jhanvi has written that she had lost all of her relatives and that she had also lost herself at one point in her past when she met Khurana uncle. There she gained a sister like Kaveri, a father like Khurana uncle, Gudiya as a daughter and then you.....
She respects him alot then talks of marriage between us and then sunny enter her life. She goes onto say that sunny is very nice. She wants Sunny/Kaveru marriage to happen as soon as possible. He also should wed.
Jhanvi is looking very shocked and saying to herself that she didn't write that letter then who did. Kaveri comes towards Jhanvi and tells her that she is a very romantic. They all clap. Jhanvi thinks to herself that how 'mahaan' is Shekhar as he didn't read the letter I gave him but made up one. She smiles. The engagement ceremony resumes and both Shekhar and Jhanvi exchange rings. Everyone claps. Shanta goes to Jhanvi and tells her in a whisper that you are wondering who wrote that letter then I wrote it.

Jhanvi goes into her room where she is confused regarding the letter she wrote and where it had disappeared. She thinks that Shanta must have that letter when Shanta comes in. Shanta is looking very upset and apologises to Jhanvi as she did it for a joke but when she saw her face when Shekhar was reading the letter she realised that Jhanvi was very serious about it and that it was an important letter. She tells her what happened. Seeing her when she was addressing the envelope to Shekhar and then Gudiya calling out. She left and then after she saw the Jhanvi had handled Gudiya she went back into the room. She says that she rang Shubot and told him about the letter. She read the half-written letter to him who then told her to finish off the letter. Shanta is hesitant to do this but Shubot persuades her to do so as Jhanvi would be grateful. That';s what she did.
She again apologises to Jhanvi and tels her that whatever punishment she wants to give her then she will happily have it. She asks her whether she is angry at her as she feels that there is a burden on her heart. Jhanvi smiles and says no.Shanta then tells her that Shekhar wants to speak to her. She asks her why but Shanta just tells her that they are now engaged and can talk themselves. She leaves and goes.
Shekhar is in his room holding the letter and looking in the garden when Jhanvi enters the room. Shekhar asks her when she came and she replies that just now. He apologises for reading the letter as he knows that she had said not to read it to anyone.She aks him whether he read the letter she gave him and no other. He says yes but why the question. She says that she was laughing to herself as there wasn't anything that couldn't be read to anyone in it. She asks him why he was so upset yesterday. He replies that our loved ones treat us like strangers. He tells her that he will tell her some other time. He gets a silver briefcase and gives it to her adn says that its got 5 lakhs in it and to put it in the cupboard. When he tells her to she can give it to Khurana uncle.He then tells her that when she rang last night then she spoke to Sunny and not him as he had left the phone in his room. He tells her that he had mentioned that you had called him by his given name 'saagar' and not the nickname 'sunny'. She is shocked.

Comments: Today's episode was very interesting. I knew that Kaveri would want that letter read before the engagemnt took place. She had told Jhanvi the night before that she will get it read in front of everyone.
We now know that when Shanta had gone to Jhanvi room to read the letter someone had already been (possibly sagar?!) and taken the original letter and swapped it for a half-written letter that Jhanvi had previously wrote. She looked OK throughout the reading of the letter until it said that Sunny is very nice then she was shocked and realised that she hadn't written that. I think that's what everyone is confused about. I hope you all understand what has happened now.
Sorry the update was posted so late but I was waiting for the video to be posted and then I watched it but then had to put my cousin to bed before I sat down to write the update. This had inadvertently caused me to be late posting the update. I aoplogise yet again.
