I wonder why didn't anyone question dargah in previos serials or dramas before! I am used to watch dargah scenes in Indian and Pakistani dramas. I think that ppl there believe in such things. but I am glad that molvi Kabeer proved me wrong , and showed the other part of Muslims in India who don't believe in such things. 😃

Same thoughts about dargah...
First time I saw a serial highlighting both aspects.

Even I never visited any dargah, but I believe visiting is OK but, praying to them...I don't believe...what you can get by directly asking Allah at your home, why visiting a dargah...

For Pakistani series, they are pathetic reorientation of Muslim culture...and today's dramas don't even focus on culture...shut romance, breaking houses, 1 girl 2 boys,2 boys 1 girl and they happened to be siblings and nonsense.

Loved is a for yesterday

That's the point. Film/Drama is a medium through which you can influence the general views of the public and tow it in any particular direction. Indian dramas or movies have always shown dargah as an integral part of Islam to the point of exaggeration. But this is not what mainstream Islam is. You'll see these dargah only in India Pakistan Bangladesh ...but Muslims live all around the world with different races and ethnicities which consists of almost 2 billion people all over the world.

I'm an atheist who looks at every religion rationally and observing people's psychology is like my hobby. I think when people are desperate for something they pray to God more than they ever did and thats when these dargahs come into play, a place of relief and a place where muslim women aren't prohibited. When theose depaerate people found solace at dargah they started to believe in it, similar to how people started to believe in God.

We already know how many people are against this show, I don't think its an easy task to get permission to shhot at a mosque for now, maybe in future if more people start liking the show the it could be possible.

It is sad. coz in Pakistani dramas we see masjid scenes often. also in some movies there were masjid scenes. I just want the makers to show how a muslim life is. Being a muslim man, doing five namaz daily in a masjid it has a gr8 part of his persona. 😊
Any way. there'll be many upcoming festivals : Eid ul fitr, and Eid ul Azha to look for I hope we see some of the muslim culture through this drama.😃

Omg! I had the same question! Every time I see Kabeer praying at home, I was like why doesn't he go to the mosque. They don have to show him praying in the mosque but can just show him going there. In pakistani dramas there are scenes of mosque then I don know why they aren't showing it here.
And I was expecting them to pray the night prayer together. The two rak'ahs one. Since both of them are so praticing why didn"t they do it. Or is it like one's choice and not compulsion? Im confused regarding this.
I really had no idea regarding the Durgah issue of Kabeer. I always thought it was a part of Islam. 😲

do you mean sunnah prayer of marraige?😕 I think they were busy fighting with each other, and none of them was interested in this marriage, so they didn't seek Allah's barkat. 😃

This is why I appreciate what cvs show. they cleared up this misunderstanding. and made it sure such things aren't part of Islam. 😊
