I have just started watching this show since this week, i went back watched it from EP1.

its such a lovely show.

Im loving the concept.

They will hv to show Reema changing religion and this will not go well wid hindu community and inter religion marriage will not go well with muslims
Muslim men are allowed to marry christians so had Reema been a christian it wud hv been smooth sail😆
PS: accepting Islam just to get married do not make you muslim. It should be for Allah and only Allah. You should accept the religion from your heart not to get married

Muslim women cannot marry anyone other than Muslim men

Muslim men can marry Ahl-e-Kitab since jews are ahl e kitab so yes there

Why not a reema and irfan marriage, as per Indian law they can get married under special marriage act without either of them changing their religion.

It is very imp. To accept the fact that your friends may have a veiw totally different from you and still be able to accept that

Life is all about changing with times

Common guys, there're many people who are going for inter-religion marriages, caste or religion doesn't make a difference for people who go for love marriages, I personally know many Muslim boy and hindu girl couples, the girls usually get a muslim name but they continue worshipping their hindu gods and two religions are followed at their homes together, real love doesn't condition you to change. The common thing I observed from these inter-religion marriages is that the bride's families (hindus) are against it while the groom's families (muslims) supported them.

When so many important things are forgotten or neglected from holy books then why can't difference in religions be ignored!!

I for sure know this show would go for hindu-muslim marriage right from when they introduced Zabeer's friends flirting track. Zara would support it while Kabir wouldn't at the start.

If one's go by people choice, then I have many friends who drink, eat pork, go to clubs, have physical relations and what not. Did I break my relation with them?... No..

We all accepted these people but, I won't accept their acts and consider them right.yes, there life and I have no right to intervene but, what is wrong and forbidden in religion will remain so forever.there are 3 levels of faith in islam.; if you saw something wrong, stop it by hands...2nd if yo have no power ,stop it by words...and if you cannot do either, at least consider it wrong in your hearts but this will be lowest level.if I have power to stop ...I am not eligible for last level.

This is where serial will lose plot.kabeer, as molvi ,has a lot of power to stop it.but, if he agrees, this will be highest level of character assassination.

We all know this will happen.

I totally agree that things like Hindu-Muslim marriage shouldn't be shown. I'm against it in real life as well. It's a very sensitive issue , one which should be better avoided.

Sensitive yes, but it sparks conversation. & that's necessary for society. It happens, it's realistic, and if it's avoided then where is the discussion? "If you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always got." That's applicable to Indian shows as well.

It is good that they are bringing up these issues in the show too...during nikaahnama, Kabir also did not say anything against Zara...he must have felt bad that his father looked bad when Zara mentioned dahej, but even peer sahab supported her claims...

Regarding their religious views, it isn't necessary that one is more educated in the books than the others, but it is important how they apply what they know. In today's era also, the problems arise when people interpret the same words differently...or use different parts to support their claims in different situations. The two of them will have to learn to reach a compromise and understand that they aren't standing on two different sides but that they believe in the same religion.

I think interreligious marriage will be a very risky path if the makers choose to go that route...

1) If they go ahead with the marriage, it won't satisfy the Muslim viewers since this very show revolves around what is and what isn't "correct"...the views regarding inter-religious marriage are quite clear in the books (as many others have pointed out)

2) If they decide to have Reema convert, it will likely piss off many other viewers to show that she had to convert to marry the one she loves...in any case, conversion is also not a topic to be taken lightly. One has to convert for belief in Allah and you have to want to continue believing even if the relationship doesn't work out...

In any case, I'm quite hopeful for how this show goes down...they have showing a lot of interesting and good viewpoints and I'm excited for more!

Because, Islam takes Christianity n judaism as valid religions that is why men are allowed to marry women(who follow their original scripture not the twisted one) from those religion whereas Christianity n Judaism do not consider Islam to be valid religion

since Islam takes both religion to be valid, Men isnt allowed to force wife to change her religion and if he does its a sin. same is not the case wid other religions and they get right to force their wives to change

Also if we analyse logically, men in our society holds the fort and authority. If there is any inter-marriage, initially both will respect each other n their religion but after certain point of tym men will deffo try to change the religion of wife and in that case she wife wud either hv to give in or go out. better is to stay out of such complicated rishtey which will snatch ur peace 😆
