Afternoon show: Kumkum Pyaara Sa Bandhan

Serials come and serials go. But Kumkum is one long-running soap that has remained consistently popular in the afternoon slot. Shown on STAR Plus, Kumkum appeals to middle-class sensibilities and presents situations and characters that the audience can identify with. The lead pair of Sumeet and Kumkum — played by Hussain and Juhi Parmar — have emerged as cult characters on Indian television. And though Balaji production Karam Apnaa Apnaa has now been shifted to the afternoon slot on the same channel, Kumkum's popularity doesn't seem to have waned.

no other couple can be like sukk......and the variety of tracks shown on this show is great although they did kinda repeat some here and there......but nevertheless, it never got boring......despite having 3 of the main characters with brain tumors hahaha.....but its not just huju but also the supporting cast that also did great.......naina
