Good episode tonight! I am enjoying the pace. The Khannas are truly a family Avni has been blessed to have, each time I see them defend her or be fair in calling both her and Neil out it warms my heart! The Khannas are proving the sacrifice Avni made was not one that went in vein, they are her perfect family and they are that sounding board her and Neil need when they become too stubborn.
The ice cream scene was <3 though I am annoyed to learn Hotstar once again muted the song, why?? Anyways let me not take away the beauty of the scene. I thought it was rather sweet of Neil to come with the ice cream it shows his care and an olive branch of sorts because he knew he was harsh with her earlier. I feel for Avni she wants so much to reunite with Neil but she can't without the truth coming out.
Shweta, she only wants what is best for both her children. Which mother would love to see her kids in misery? You have one who is determined to leave and you have another who is always angry, no mother would want to see their children like this which is why I understand her POV. Shweta would love nothing more than for them to unite but that push does not seem to be happening, so what will change that?
Prakash, the way he closely observed Mowgli and Avni after learning Mowgli had the same allergy as Neil was really good! Yes Avni covered but sometimes a parent just has that intuition and I love that he will waste no time in cornerning Avni, will she try to cover her track again or will Prakash see through her? Looking forward to that.
So Vidyut is dead, it should be what gets Avni to stay back but it seems she will still be determined to walk away from Neil's life which explains the upcoming breakdown scenes and Neil's hasty decision made in anger. I want to say this I do not think Neil nor Avni are being butchered here, both have always been flawed and they've both always needed that extra push when it comes to how stubborn they can be. There is not going to be any third angle especially given how suspicious Mitali becomes of Neil's intentions and the truth is going to come out about Avni, don't forget this story has always been Avni and Neil's and this track is about how they find their way back to each other. So please give the new writers a chance instead of being harsh with them, after much backlash they chose to go a different route by focusing back on AvNeil instead of giving importance to Sayesha. Why not meet them halfway? Don't jump to conclusions without the track playing out first especially when the show is in danger of ending, the more you retalitiate and bash this team the more likely they will be tempted to shut shop. They deserve a chance.
