The mockery of National Awards
I completely agree with you. I have been very disappointed with Ek Deewana Tha. I tuned into this show because of Vikram Singh Chauhan, who is a phenomenal actor. Then I also liked Namik from EDKV. Then they rope in Amar Upadhyay who is another good actor. But sadly, the writers failed to utilize their talent by matching it with an intriguing, good plot and storyline. I lost interest to watch in-between because it just wasn't enjoyable and I also didn't feel any chemistry between the leads (part of it has to with the writing because chemistry needs to be created on paper first because it can be translated on-screen).
I hoped the new reincarnation track will be written better and infuse life into the show. I was also really excited when Shivani was joining the show as well and I would get to see Vikram-Shivani and their electrifying chemistry again...they could've used this track to also write a proper storyline of Shiv and Sharanya too...but..I just feel like the writers do not seem invested in actually writing a story. The flashbacks could've come later in the show, they could've written how each characters meet and develop...They didn't even take time to establish characters or relationships..I hope the writing can get better for this show for the sake of its talented cast and they take a moment to develop their characters and build relationships than just show them...
