Just because someone is brainwashing you doesn't mean you have to trust him blindly. The queen's self respect is as important as the king. If the king doesn't respect you then how can you expect your courtiers and everyone else respect her? Darius has the upper hand because he knows the king can be used to his own benefit since he has no respect for the queen. King Bamni is a brainless idiot.
