The confrontation between pendulum and witch was so melodramatic the one where they're Bhalla roles his eyes looked more like a Kathakali rehearsal.
Pendulum and Mani did their bit urging their daughters to move on to stay focussed one by a fiercef plee that was wasted on the withch and which did not evoke any pity for the molting Mumma daughter duo. Mani is going all out to fix a project for ADI Alia and they are all excited. A business decision Raman would never give a nod as the shrewd businessman he is, he built his industry with integrity and hard work. Not accepting favours of family and friends.
The desperate search of Simmi for the lipstick reminded me of Lady Macbeth's effort to wipe off the stains that had tainted her palms.
Shravus link with Param will be the next to surface and wonder what the shamefaced family would do. The well intended suggestion of Ishu was silenced by Kiran. Is she going to fall badly and will she be blamed like Ishu or will the Iyer's rally around to ensure Shravvu is corrected?

Simmi's cries or senti evoked zilch empathy in me...lines were crossed to a disgusting levels...so no...
Oh boy what a comparison...lady Macbeth...I remember that scene,,,.it gives me chills.
Yes shravu's link is next...About kiran she can neither be strict as she's the step mother nor too lenient fir the same reason...it has to be a balance...the kid already revolted for their marriage...she's prolly treading with caution or she has utmost confidence in shravu...it's true that kids earn their money and spend it too...wish guidance was given by her to shravu in her own way. It can go both ways,,..

Viji children need to be told when they transgress limits. Everytime Bala has tried to correct him Kiran has jumped into his defence. Parenting is not a popularity contest and it is not right to shy away. I see a lot of similarity between blousema and Kiran in the way they raise their boys. Ishitha is a step mom too and foster mom for Aalia but she has raised the kids amazingly in the sense pointing without hesitation when they falter. Standing up for what is right. Remember the Roshni ADI wedding discovery.
Kiran as a mom as a business woman is a huge let down

Agree...limits have to be set...I wish she spoke to shravu ...
There is no manual for parenting...it's all trial and errors...what works for one May not work for the other...but somethings are pretty straight forward...and that's where kiran faulted...she could've been the cool mom ..yet set boundaries...that where she missed.
Ishu cannot be compared to these 2 at all..she knew to strike a balance and when to put her foot down without being harsh and explaining it to the kids and making them understand.
I remember that scene...she felt aaliya had the right to know before the wedding and decide fir herself without influence. Kiran was protective over kshitija we saw that...I was wondering what stopped her from talking to shravu in her own way...and only that reason struck me ...she doesnt want him to revolt... this is the only reason I can think of...and make matters worse...little did she realize he's in trouble already. Again it's her confidence on shravu too..so she's in for a shock...lets c

I'm not supporting kiran just guessing the reason that's all.

Viji I have one biological kid and since I head a school I indirectly parent another 500. No 2 kids are same I agree but as a parent you must not doubt yet be ever watchful of what kids do. I find by nipping a matter in the nascent stage is the way to deal with it. When one lives in a joint family extended diverse perspectives shape or dent a child.
Madhu was fiercely protective of Vandhu Bala and their kids so much so we have wondered if Ishu was an adopted kid as they never stood up for her. Of late the Iyer's have been quiet too.there is a fine line separating indulgence and intrusion.
Bala as the surviving parent has every reason to worry.
When one parent worries and tries to speak to the child the other should not undermine it. Which is what I see Kiran doing.
All difficult conversations Bala has in the past handled with care. Now it appears to be only Ishitha who does it.
Raman and his Tingu Bhavesh had such a brabeauti relationship. Maybe we should have him handle the matter if he is out of his ML state by then.
