Hi. Just wanted to let some feelings out because it's been too much for a couple of days. Mods can delete this immediately, dont care but needed to let it out.

Anyone else feel the paralyzing horror and just mind numbing tremors while reading about that little girl in Kathua. Like am so terrified at the moment. What has India turned into in the name of religion. What has happened to humans. What's wrong with the world. I couldn't even move from my bed for an hour after I read the events. I wish I could murder those accused, drive a knife in their bodies and cut their limbs out piece by piece, see them get tortured. My heart is so so so broken. What animals are these people. I can't put my head around this thing at all. Am so scared. Am scared for all the little ones I know and ones I don't. How do I protect them. How do I do anything at all. To those who believe in God,where is your god? Why won't he protect the little ones. They don't even know how the world works. They don't know anything.

Am sorry but I feel so helpless and paralyzed beyond belief. I can't imagine something like this,i just cant. May we all rot in hell, all of us. We are all responsible for creating a society where this could even happen in and may the angel find her peace someday. May the world burn down cause truly we are the worst things to happen to it.

@Bold...may the gods burn us down cause truly we are the worst things to happen to it. Let the world live on without us. Why should other living beings pay for our sins.

I have developed a blocking mechanism, sometimes certain images and stories get through it, but I am consciously not reading about this cause if I go down that blackhole, it takes time for me to get out of it. Humanity is certainly a lost cause.

I had no idea so I googled.

What is the religious angle in this?

My sense is that it will be case of lust in the end. In Pakistan there was case of Zainab and just yesterday I read a news again.

Some people will not agree with me because western mindset has influenced us against capital punishment but I think if you hang these people on trees and make an example then over the period these cases will go down..crime will never become zero but u need deterence

Traffic is bad because people take it for granted. here in US u r driving on highway and police car is on the side then u will see all the vettels and hamiltons suddenly slow down in respect

humans need to be managed through laws..they can be good but they can be very evil as well

of course hanging should happen after court proceedings

this has become a subcontinent issue now... rape ie.

The details of that case have been haunting me since the charge sheet's been out. Can't stop thinking about what that little girl must have gone through while being so terribly brutalized. A 8-year-old child! She must have screamed, called for help, begged, pleaded, and what not! How did these monsters even think of something so sinister, let alone execute it.
The horrible part is the accused involve a man in his 60's to a boy in his teens. How could a 60 year old do this to a girl who could be of his grandkids age? And how could a kid in his teens indulge in something so horrific? A man comes all the way from Meerut to rape a small child? What are these people? Makes me dizzy when I think about it all.

I just cant stop imagining the little girl and how scared she must have been, all alone in the company of those monsters. That sweet sweet girl

Lawyers? Why is lawyer community the most scum in Indian subcontinent? here they are defending rapists based on their religion.

In pakistan they are defending corrupts...they fight with judges..they break chairs in court room

Is their some fundamental problem ...who is going into this profession?

such incidences are common throughout...yes there is a religious angle it seems as muslim girl was raped in temple by hindus

however this should be treated as a crime... recently a hindu boy was raped by feudal lord in sindh pakistan...

citizens, police and court should work together ...imp thing is hanging these ...DASHES

I don't believe in after life but still I want to believe that she is in a better place now away from heartless animals. And I want to personally execute the punishment whenever I read about child rape .

Every time there is even the slightest glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, this world hasn't gone to shit, news like this comes up. Every day, somewhere or the other, we see news about such heinous crimes. And every time, the sense of horror does not go away.
I relate with how you feel. Humans are truly the worst creatures dwelling on this planet.

And India.. what do we say about a country where the majority religion is Hinduism, in which women are revered as goddesses, protectors, nurtures and destroyers of evil. And yet some of the very people from that religion to torture a poor Muslim child in the name of 'religion'. What religion teaches people to be this despicable?

And some people still have the audacity to make rape jokes, blame the victim and their clothing as a cause. This is so disappointing, and what is even worse, is that this definitely is not going to be the last rape news we will hear of.

That's what I would like to believe as well (I am not a believer too)
But, the thought of her torture and torment just doesn't go away. I am not an endorser of public hangings and castration, but during times like these it feels like these monsters deserve nothing less than that. I feel so sick and scared for all the little girls of this country.

Religious fundamentalists of all religions including my own are scary AF. Anyone who believes they are 100% correct and even others practicing their religion aren't doing it "right " and know (not believe, according to them, know) absolutely everything they do is approved of by their God is always only one step away from turning all that passion for their own religion against everyone else.
