Hum Saath Saath Hain

With all the Black Buck news lately it reminded me of Hum Saath Saath Hain. I find this movie to be utterly stupid and I know its a lost cause trying to make some sense out of it but why not, so I should just ask away!

Yeah it was weird that the film was sold on Salman's name but his airtime was limited. But he still kinda the main character.

This movie is my guilty pleasure 😆 but yea, a lot of stuff is bizarre and unintentionally funny esp the honeymoon trip with tht iconic ABCD song 😆

i love Ramayana.so i loved their adaptation into hum saath saath hain.
in fact its one of my fav.better than many other successful films.
when the eldest bro is turned out from home i cry.when prem's mother
tells i made ur fav dishes come eat n he says he is not hungry i love
his snubbing her.when they finally throw out the three evil ladies i applaud.

three scenes i love most.

1.tabu's char putting her hand beneath the shaking hand of her onscreen hubby
thus steadying him n truly conveying that she will always be with him in every sickness
n grief n that his physical constraints never will make her feel ashamed of him..

2.prem expressing his love only when his elder bro tells him sometimes u need to
voice it too n how the elder bro tells his youngest bro go take a walk i want to chat
with prem n he(saif ) too obeys without questioning him.that is such a sweet scene
between the brothers.

3.karisma's char happily supporting saif n his decision to leave their mother n lavish
life n serve the elderly bro n SIL when her grey father was also instrumental in dividing
the family.

some movies u need to see from soul not from eyes.n hum sath saath hain
is one such film.

n yes like i always say i have trained myself to be able to differentiate
between a person n his work n i do not let my personal dislike for a person to
make me fail to appreciate his good work/a good film.
