Shobhaa De praises Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput's parenting skills and BA

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are proud
parents, best friends, soulmates and more.
They are both opinionated and totally
hands on when it comes to parenting their
little cherub: Misha. In a tell all account,
celebrity columnist Shobhaa De recently
bumped into the Kapoor family in an
aircraft and got a real view of life and times
of Shahid Kapoor, when the shutterbugs
are off. While she waxed lyrical about how
Mira and Shahid give a normal' upbringing
to Misha and how they do not have an
entourage of nannies to help them out, her
tone and use of words suggested that she
might be taunting other celeb parents:
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar.
She spoke about celebs considering their
nanny's preferences first when it comes to
holidaying. She described their species as
uniformed, well-organised and abreast with
gourmet food choices and other western
parenting techniques. Well, now we know
who all have nannies dressed in uniforms,
don't we? It is not much difficult to guess
that, especially if you read Shobhaa's piece.
Interestingly, there was also much
contention about rivalry between Shahid's
wife Mira and his ex girlfriend Kareena who
both had babies during a similar time
frame. While Kareena was up and about the
town, being every bit of working mother
that she is while flaunting her baby bump,
Mira made a rather drastic statements
about her choice of staying at home,
looking after kids because they are not
puppies' and need full attention. Well, the
celebrity commentator hints at same thing
here.
Shobha also spoke about Karan Johar's
precious twins' in the same breathe as she
dissed the English speaking nannies and
their tribe. Well, quiet a snarky view of
looking at things, no? Don't know if Bebo
and KJo have a retort to this. Stay tuned for

Excuse me but wht's wrong if one keeps English speaking nanny ? And who's Shobha De to decide what's ideal and what's not ? Journalism doesnt mean shoving one's opinion down our throats.. Aint she generalizing the whole nanny system of western countries and criticizing every parent out there ? So they're all to be judged now eh ! And then these people preach on liberal views and free western culture.. Reminds me of movie Swades..

Exactly! And despite being a housewife of a star, Shahid & Mira do have a nanny for their daughter coz they can very well afford it!

Well yeah, Mira is a housewife, she wants to be a full time parent and stay at home and take care of the baby. And even then she has a "didi" who helps out.

I have never liked Shobha De. This woman has such weird opinions. There is nothing wrong with people keeping nannies. Regular people also drop their kids to crche if both the parents are working and there is nobody else to take care of them. Some even keep nannies. What is the big deal about it?

De is such a pseudo-intellectual hypocritical self-righteous bla bla bla. All the bad words. Can't stand this woman. And what does she talk about feminism, women being nannies for their kids etc, she herself latches onto every powerful man she can find & didn't some friend of her's say in an article how obsessed she was of marrying rich! If no-one judges you on your choices, why write articles & condemn others for their choices. Till now KJo seems like a doting father, does not matter how many nannies he hires when he can afford to do so. Same goes for Kareena, she wants to work & hires nannies, good for her. Mira is a SAH mother who does not need to when she steps outside the comfort of her posh house, good for her too... Who anointed De as some sort of spokesperson for good parenting! 🤢

Everyone's parenting skills are different. Atleast their not like animals eating the kids 😆😆
