Shaadi No. 1, jodis to appear on TV

The romantic couples of the forthcoming movie Shaadi No. 1 will be seen on the small screen on Friday and Saturday.

It can best be described as a 'win-win' situation. Film producers in Bollywood have found a new way of promoting their films by letting the movie's actors make an appearance in a TV serial. It is an arrangement in which no money changes hands. The producers get the required publicity of their film, while the channel gets the high TRPs.

We saw Mallika Sherawat playing a rustic Rajasthani woman in a Star One serial prior to the release of her movie Bachke Rehna Re Baba .

Now, the stars of the forthcoming film 'Shaadi No. 1' will appear in the popular serial Baa Bahu Aur Baby on Star Plus.

Fardeen Khan and Ayesha Takia , who play a couple in the film, will appear in the serial on Friday night. Zayed Khan and Esha Deol , another couple in the film, will appear in the Saturday episode.

'Shaadi No. 1' also stars Sharman Joshi , Soha Ali Khan , Sanjay Dutt and Riya Sen .

The movie will release on November 3.
